Wow, nice stripes from that mower. I bought one a month or so ago, but won't be using it until next spring, so nice to see what I will expect from it. I think it gives such good stripes because of how heavy the mower is (about 21KG), what height are you mowing with it at? I think it will start from 5mm at its lowest setting, and then up in 5mm increments using the lines on the adjuster legs. I am also looking at getting a vintage Ransomes Ajax mower, but don't think the Ajax would give stripes as good as the super panther ball bearing, as the Ransomes is a few KG lighter in weight. Put some more up of the stripes with the super panther👍
@@freesubscriberschannel9903 thanks mate, that will explain why the stripes are so good, the longer the cut height, the better the stripes, I like to cut at about 15mm max, otherwise would be mowing every few days if longer than that. Got anymore showing your stripes from it? Sounds to me as if you have the cutting reel set too tight to the bottom blade, going by the noise, and how hard it looks for you to push it. Mine is set so no contact, so silent and still cuts strips of A4 paper, so mine is so easy to push along. Mind you, to get it like that took me a lot of back lapping with grinding paste to get the cylinder blades and bottom knife blade razor sharp.
Laying down some lovely stripes with the old vintage mower.

Nice work! I've just got hold of a Mk3 Ajax. Hoping for similar results.

It wasn't that hard to push I set the blade perfectly
Please help why is my mower getting stuck than I must reverse and push the whole time
Idk could be Jammed or something I am not a professional so if there is nothing under the blade jamming it then ask a mower mechanic
