- found all this in a server I used to be in and a UA-cam video. I figured it would be ok to post since the official update is out (and since some of it was made just to throw leakers off track).

I guess Super Mario 128, Super Mario Tanooki Skin 2D, Funny Dino and Martin, Sad Bald Mario, Elh, Scrupulous Fingore, and FNAW Mario all ended up getting scrapped? I know that it was said that the Tanooki Skin sprites were real despite the fake song associated with it, and that Sandi hinted at Super Mario 128 in the same post where he hinted at Nourishing Blood and All Stars, AND spoiled GX.
I would have loved to see FNAW Mario that would have been really cool :(
@@nikpen2236 I would have preferred FNAW Wario, or hell, maybe even the VIRUS (as is planned for NOTMK), but FNAW Mario could have still worked.
I think those were just concepts and there was no intention to put them in the mod

a. As previously mentioned, late into V2's development, Sandi made a Twitter post of "spoilers without context" for Mario's Madness. One of these was an image of Fall Guys, which many people drew conclusions to being connected to spoiling Super Mario 128. There really isn't anything else in Mario's Madness that has any comparability to Fall Guys.
b. FNAW Mario was one of the highly requested characters for Mario's Madness, so much so that it was mentioned in the trivia section on Mario's Madness's Funkipedia article. Granted, most of those requested didn't make the cut, and you can't exactly find the information anymore since V2 came out, but Mr. Virtual and Turmoil were both on the list and both ended up making the cut.
c. Partway through development, Marco stated that there are plenty of characters that got scrapped. And yet, only three characters thus far have been confirmed to be scrapped, those being Ink Bowser, SMG4 Mario, and Wega.

@@VALO-57you are correct they were accused of something so they were kicked off the dev team.But then people found out that he was innocent so the team asked him to join back but they said no. So that’s why the old version of over due was scrapped.

0:39, its interesting that Pico was meant to face againts the Victim #1, I wonder If Mr. L was initially gonna face againts Bf, but due to Victim #1 being scrapped the team decided to pair him with Pico
I believe Marco may have said that the victim “leak” was a fake-out to try and hide Mr. L (if you’ll recalll, he originally said Mr. L wasn’t in the mod) but then Mr. L got leaked anyway
Pico was never meant to go against Victim #1, it was most likely a detour.
i think some of this will make it into the mod. here's how i see it:
the leaked build was, well, leaked, so they finished what they could with the build we now have. i think the leaked build is from a while back, too. but i think they released the v2 build we have now so people didn't get confused with the fake build. this could be why things like the menu and difficulty settings weren't in the mod. i feel like MMv2 was finished a little early, but not rushed, and that's why some things didn't make the cut. if they make MMv3, which we shouldn't pressure them too do, then some of the scrapped stuff would get in.
