I did much the same on my '99 TW. Replace the old style glass fuse for modern blade type and added a fused aux panel. Cleans up that space and makes any new electrical add-ons a breeze.

Thank you Jim, for sharing your install!! I totally agree, those posi-tap connectors cause issues. It looks like you have a Garmin Zumo XT as well looking at you harness.... I'm going to be installing the same PC8R 40 amp fuse block to my 2004 Honda Goldwing. I have a question regarding your switched power connection you made. It appears that it didn't matter which wire you took from the in/out switched wire terminal from the fuse block while connecting it to your switched power leads. Obviously, it didn't matter, I thought that maybe it would. Great job!! Looks really nice! Thanks again. 👍

It does not seem to matter which connector you use on the switched power terminal. The manual from Eastern Beaver does mention a specific in and out but i don't think it really matters. The connectors both appear to be the same electrically. Since i used the rear taillight switch as a place to pull power i just made sure the taillight still worked when i was done, it did so all is good.

Really Great job I wish I was a little tech savvy I would definitely clean up my TW200 wiring like the way you've achieved 👏 or have a person near me that I would pay to fix the wire section.
Oh is there a link to the battery that has lasted 8 years on your TW I would really appreciate it 🙌👍

@@goldeniron8989 Here is a link to Shorai battery options for the TW200. shoraipower.com/battery?type=175&make=381186&model=381233&year=381233 I have the bigger LFX14 option, both batteries are a great option for the TW. These batteries can be bought from lots of places including Amazon, Pro Cycle and Cycle Gear.

It scares me that this was your last TW post. Problem with the install or just normal issues?

Thanks for checking in. No issue with anything install related or with the bikes at all, just life getting in the way at the moment We made some big but very planned life changes shortly after this video was made. We sold our house and moved into a rental in Florida where i had the bikes in storage while we waited for our home on wheels to be built. Now that we are settling into our new RV life and the Tdubs are out of storage i hope to make some new content soon.
