Super Mario 64 - Castle Gallery (Personalized)

- The Caslte Gallery is a castle sub-area in a mysterious version of Super Mario 64.
Description: The Castle Gallery is a clean, cozy sub-area found within the Grand Castle. The walls are neatly decorated with paintings and ornate lamps. Padded benches line the wooden floors, and the fancy walls invite you further in, making you feel at peace. All of these factors make the Castle Gallery feel very "museum" like.
The castle gallery is fairly small, consisting of several twisting hallways, and two level enterances. One of the paintings takes you to Shimmering, Shining peaks, more info can be found here: • Super Mario 64 - Shimm...
Not much else can be found amongst the twisting corners and comfortable seating options, making the area feel slightly barren, conflicting with the cozy vibe and upbeat music. Some describe this area as "Fake happy," like it's not entirely authentic.
Location:
The primary way to acsess the Castle Gallery is through the mirror room in the upstairs area of the castle. After getting a certain amount of stars, (exact amount seems to vary,) the night sky painting next to the stairs leading to the 3d floor will move ever so slightly. Entering the painting takes mario to a small, dark room with a vanish cap, that can be used to go through the mirror.

I realized this is very similar to Parallel Lobby. It's a banger, and on my head all the time, maybe not super surprising :P
Who could blame you, I literally think about parallel lobby 24/7
Honestly, not really, you did a good job of infusing it with your own identity and it sounds super cozy and relaxing, but in a chiller way than parallel lobby. Absolutely love this song, and will definitely add it to my Personalized SM64 Bangers playlist
Here, take my sub. and happy early 20th 🎉
First of all, I adore this song, it's so chill and cozy and refreshing in a way that I feel like only your music could be. And as for what you said in the video, it's totally fine if you don't want to rush yourself, I would've gladly waited a few months for this song for example. Have a wonderful day! :)
@@ecstaticwooper368 Thank you as always for your support. Means the world!
@@Pellwers and thank you for putting your time and effort into making chill songs for us! :)
great song, dw about the stuff u are worrying about tho like u are 20 so basically still a newborn lil baby and grandeur comes from contrasting contextually calm moments like this one, not from trying too hard on every song. u're fine my man.
@@wasteofblood Thanks, I really appreciate that 🙂
Honestly this fits the vibe of a "royal castle owned by a princess" more than the actual castle's theme
@@maplebury Haha thanks! The other one is way more intruiging though…
@Pellwers Hey I have suggestion. Why not do a jungle theme, using remixed moteifs of the main theme as well as some new motiefs to give a more jungle esk theme
@@benjaminreed5010 I've had plans for a Jungle song for a while, we'll see how it ends up! Thank you for your suggestion! :)
@@Pellwers no problem
Sounds great Pelle! 😊👍
For some reason my brain could imagine this fitting into a mario and luigi game somehow
Definitely similarities to castle theme from Partners in Time, loved that song as a kid!
pretty cool song ngl, and yeah you shouldn't rush songs or things in general as it can take a pretty big toll on your mental health
For sure, thanks misterio!
0:20 "This really isn't good enough." What do you mean, I think it's great! It's relaxing, and I can definitely see it being used in a Mario RPG game.
Also, I not only agree that you shouldn't rush and push yourself so hard, but that you shouldn't be scared to experiment! Yes, it's risky due to the fact that you don't fully know whether audiences will like what you are testing or not, but that same risk is what makes something innovative. Nothing innovative that I know of came without that risk of being rejected, but it worked out in the end for said projects. And even when it doesn't work out and the audience doesn't like the change or experiment, you can still use people's helpful (and hopefully respectful) cristism to improve your future work. I'm not saying you need to experiment everytime though, just that you shouldn't be scared to. Sometimes a nice laid-back "samey" project can be relaxing and refreshing as well, like this song!
I wish you good luck on your music-improving journey! I have subscribed, and will definitely listen to your other songs and projects!
@@masterwolfgaming3436 Thank you so much! This is really great, well formulated advice. I’m enjoying myself!
wake up gamers new Pellwers banger just dropped
Love the simplicity within this one! Very calm and charming, fits well into the type of place you're trying to compose it around. I could see this being part of a real museum!
The complex tracks are nice, but so are these! Just do what speaks to you and makes you happy :3
I subbed so now you have 500 subs ❤❤❤
@@kourtiss64 Hahaha thank you so much!

oh. My first impression from "make my songs all as "grand" as possible" was 'sneak The Flintstones into them'. But you were serious.
@@MetaKaios Hahaha maybe I will 😂
