Most of the time, getting older just sucks......but thank God I am old enough to remember the music of the late 70's through the early 90's. Today's generation will never understand what a glorious time it was back in those days. Randy had so many good songs, but even all these years later this song is still solid gold. Some things never get old and only get better with time.

I also can relate to your story. I'm grateful I was able to be there and take care of her during her last years on earth. When she died last May 23, my world crumbled. I miss her ever Dann day! 🥺😢😭 I wish I could call her just to hear her voice one last time say, I love you more! I miss my momma!

One day during a student group discussion, I decided to test my understanding of his bullshit ways. I took an opposing view to something the rest of us wanted to approve. When he heard me speak against the proposal on the floor, he took a position in support of it. He never knew he had been had. His predictability could be used against him very easily. After the vote was taken, other students congratulated me on getting him to change his previously stubborn position.

It's 3:30am and I fell asleep earlier and was awoke by this song. My mind went back many, many years to a young woman I dated for a little over 3 years. *This video has LOTS of views. There are at least 40 other songs by Randy that don't come up if you just search on his name ( at least for me) so I googled, found out he sang Stephen Foster songs. I searched on YT for: Randy Vanwarmer Stephen Foster and found a dozen. I clicked on the channel name (if that's what it's called and then found about 40! On the Foster songs the channel name was Randy Vanwarmer, but when I just search his name I don't get those results. I'm sure I'm not explaining this well, probably no one reading this far anyway, lol*
