I know nick has since passed away, but I loved your attitude with him. Lots of people would just write him off and euthanise him, but you guys looked at what he had left and how you could give him his best life post injury. For a wild caught snake with a nasty injury he was clearly so sweet and loved to explore and investigate things. Glad his last years were safe and happy and filled with all the things he deserved. Your rescue and rehab element is such an important part of what you do, and I don’t think you get enough credit for it

British editors changed it to aluminium to be more in keeping with other elements such as potassium and sodium, while the Americans retained the spelling as aluminum.
They're one of those creatures that have lots of different names in different areas/English dialects - wood lice, pill bugs and sow bugs are all ones I've heard.

He might not be able to see, but he's exploring just as much as seamax (is that how you spell his name?), if not more, and getting up in all the crevices and on all the platforms! He's gonna do GREAT, and I think being with a friend will help him out. Maybe not so much with eating, because I'm pretty sure he eats the way he does cause, yknow. he's blind, but still. It's gonna be great, and I can't wait to see how things go!
Nick certainly seemed to like his new enclosure! I was certainly pleasantly surprised to see him seem so confident climbing all over. I really hope he and his new buddy (Sea Max? C-Max? I didn't quite get the name) get along and like their new home!

It’s been years and jt still makes me sad that Nick died . But I have to say his story is so inspiring. While most would have just left Nick to pass away you guys took him in and you really cared for him . While there are many who would not have the patience it took to care for a blind snake and hand feed him every meal you guys did . In the 2 1/2 years you had him you made his life so good and full of love and happiness . You helped him fight by giving him something to fight for which was the best life he could have had which sadly is something even fully sighted snakes never get to enjoy . You taught many people what resilience looks like. Most importantly you helped a lot of people learn these are not disgusting scary creatures out to get them but beautiful, intelligent creatures deserving of respect and love . Rip Nick. You were such a fighter and your legacy lives on through the lessons you taught not only the viewers but to Emily and Ed as well
