Great video! Is there a way to set the signing order, I mean, the second person won't receive a notification until the first person has already signed. Thanks!
All looks good license..asigned names...ect when opening the email all initial and signature fields are gone in the mail. The opened pdf does stated "locked" and guidance is very appreciated Thank for this video
Thanks a lot for the Video! Is it possible to connect the contract to google forms and create an automation that the data will be filled in the contract and automatically send by email to the future client?
@john thanks for the video!Such a great feature from Google. Do you know if there's an option to draw signature instead of typing your name? Is there a way to for the option to only allow drawing?
Thanks! Doesn't work with document uploaded to Drive. Don't know what's the problem. eSig available with docs attached in Docs but not with those in Drive..
Is there a way to make a custom drawing of does it always just autogenerate that fake looking one? It makes no sense if the signature is just another font but automatically done, IMO.
No, notifications are sent at the same time and can be signed in any order. There's a different feature available called approvals for Google docs that does require sequential sign off. This feature is primarily for internal review of documents whereas the signature feature is for external approvals.
I have a Google Workspace Business Standard account, I've checked licenses and it shows "0 available, 1 is assigned" and when I click on insert or tools and find the "esignature" button it not clickable. Any idea what is going on?
Oh wow! This was very helpful! I was so confused until I watched this. I couldn't find the e-sig button, now I see I need to upgrade..
😊
Glad it was helpful!
Exciting! Will use this in my classroom this year.

That's my question as well, hope this will be answered :)
and my question too!!!
No, I don't believe you can set up a signing order.
This was a great video. Thanks.
Thank you! So helpful - and so much better than Google's official help pages lol

Can you sign using a stylus or does it only "sign" using your name?
At the moment the signature is generated from your typed name. You can't hand-sign your signature.

Yes this can be done with several add-ons. I recommend Autocrat. ua-cam.com/video/lXPec0_rff4/v-deo.htmlsi=_I5wbGFATfuPZuT9
can we e-sign thru mobile phone or it has to be on a laptop or computer?
It works on mobile.

eSignatures in Docs doesn't support drawing a signature.
Hey, do you know if the recipient can sign from their phone?

Are they office files in Drive?
hopefully they add api access for this
Yes, that would be excellent. 👌
Do you know if they will be releasing a version for an actual signature?
Not sure.

Right now you can't draw a signature. Not sure if they will add that feature or not.
How do we use this on a tablet I am not seeing the option.. Anyone?
can we set who must sign first before the second then third

I would try removing and reassigning the license. I'm also not 100% sure e-signature is included with business standard.
What if i want a letter to be signed by 100 people??
This method won't work for you. There is a limit of 10 unique signatures for each document.
@jrsowash do you know any program that is free and allows 100 signatures on free trial??
