Castle Hill Peak Track in Torlesse Region, Canterbury New Zealand

Use Google or Apple maps and search for "Castle Hill Peak". This should take you to the start of the track which is at the "Porters Pass Viewpoint".
From here it is a straightforward climb up the mountains to the top. You will pass the "False Summit" after approximately 1 hour of walking, then "Foggy Peak" after approximately 2 hours, then 1 more hour takes you to Castle Hill Peak Summit. We didn't get there this time, but next time we will!
