Hello Dr. Hayley. I am doing etnographic researching and use Netnography methods for learning carpet weaving. But I didn't know it is a new sciens that named Netnography. Thank you for explaning❤
Hello Dr. Hayley, I'm planning to conduct my master thesis using netnography. Since I'm in japan, I wanted to study vegan community in japan using this method. And your video gives me introduction to it. I wish to learn more about how I can actually conduct it.
Hi Dr Hayley, what I like about your video on netnograhy is that it is comprehensive, informative and precise, yet concise. Dr. Imad from Khartoum, Sudan.
Thank you Dr Hayley. The video gives more understanding of netnography for newbies like myself. Hence, please allow me to share this video with my colleagues in a journalism study program in Indonesia. Thank you. Best regards.
Thank you for this great content. Very enlightening. I am attending my first year on a Tourism PhD and i am considering applying this method at my study. Kind regards from Portugal.
you have a positive personality on the web and care about your topics and research. Can I ask if you have done any research into using Rode lapel mics or Lapel mics of any kind to keep the reverb and echos out of your videos. Not trolling, just wondering! Thank you for your work!
Hi Dr. Hayley, so glad I've read your study on "The ‘Blogosphere’ as a platform for interpretative phenomenological analysis: the case of TEFL tourism," when I tried to see researches that merged netnography and interpretive phenomenology. do you have other studies that may help me with this? or references you may suggest? I have a problem coz, am the one who build the community and currently it's admin, I also design the activities the facebook members are engaged to. Hoping I may get your advice on this.
Great video thanks. I am hoping to use netnography or rather immersive netnography in my PhD in which i am hoping to look at the feelings and emotions of people using VR technology to attend events (short version). :)
Hi Dr. Hayley. I intend to do in depth interviews as my data collection method for my masters dissertation. I am researching spousal abandonment and I have found a facebook group with members that self identify as being victims of being abandoned. I need between three and five participants and was going to approach some of the women in the group to see if they would be willing to be interviewees. The interviews would then be conducted over zoom. Does this mean I will be doing netnography? The topic data is not connected to the use of the internet or social media its just for sourcing the right participants.
