THE Old AMOURY CS Camping and Caravan

When we pulled up to the gates i wasn't sure if it was the right place it looked like someones lawn.The Old Armoury Camping and Caravan C S was in outstanding condition which is a credit to Anthony the owner who was very friendly on our arrival. The site is just off the A66 making it ideal as a stop over or even longer stays and nicely placed for visiting the village of Bowes with it;s Castle also the Ancient Unicorn Pub are a short walk away,also Barnard Castle with it's shops and Bars also many other attractions.The area lends itself to many walks ideal also cycle rides.
