Some cards' values are hard to see until you play with them in a deck and then you realize their value. I'm loving gaston and robin hoods in my games as well.
Great deck , i play a very similar list ... I lose and won in different way with all the decks but i never won a game vs saphire steel resist (he plays clockswort on clock at turn 3 and With 2 prince bodyguard i can not do anything) any suggest ?
Blue steel is a counter to yellow steel, you just have to hope to win the coinflip and try and win fast with flutes and maybe hercules but it is a very hard matchup

Let's say I was talking about a local optimisation in my gradient descent, I'm not main-stream enough to play bounce control yet 😅 I basically run the same deck (except T2, I was playing Snow white but I like the change to steel T2) but I'm using T5 amber support cards instead of Cinderella (to get the criminal-mind combo). Do you see a reason it would be bad?
@@nyozha7154 I think beast is probably one of if not the best 5 drop in set 2 and the reason he commands such a high price. If you’re referring to cards like queen and Maximus, I think those cards are weaker simply due to the fact that their utility is much more conditional than a card like beast. Queen wanting criminal minds, and taking up 8 slots including a slot that’s weak to a teeth or storm rage on meta for example. Cinderella just straight up wins a lot of games by herself as she’s pretty insane into steel and has an added benefit of shifting onto a staple card in the deck. Her secondary ability synergy with songs also should not be overlooked.

play this deck at a tournament this evening with 16 players, finishing with a 3 win and 1 loss... against "Blue steel Cogsworth resist" there is no match... can t do anything :/

every variation is a meta call, stitch and queen version are more susceptible to stuff like teeth and swords and storm rage on... but they have more explosiveness, i think this version is more consistent vs red purple though at the very least.
ursula is pretty rough, but this deck can race so it comes down to whether you can race and absorb an ursula 3 lore hit once or not i think. I've only faced 1 red purple deck on ladder that played an ursula vs me and I won it but it was a pretty tight race.
steel song typically doesn't play baby tink as the 3 drop slot is extremely saturated, you have ariel and gaston heavily competing for that 3 drop slot, as well as needing to play storm rage on turn 3 sometimes when u need to dig or need to really get rid of a pinocchio or want to curve out with robin hood, as well as the ocassional benja or strength of a raging fire. Eric's been fine. Mostly ink but sometimes he comes in clutch on defense when u need something early for turn 2. If you have an ariel and whole new world in your hand, you also want games where you curve out right into a turn 4 wheel and eric/simba fit that curve nicely.
yes u can use it like that, as long as you sang a song any time that turn, the flute can be activated whether it was in play when the song was sang or not.
Literally did not run into any blue steel or pawsicles lol…i assume those would be the worst matchups, i did just beat a purple steel post video though, i think that might also be a tricky matchup…

I optimised to a close version of this deck as well. I wonder if optimization will lead me to this deck.
