I listend to this song and i think that its a remix of desperation for a cure. Heres why:
#1 if you listen to the song (desperation for a cure) and this theme (flatten the curve) they have very similar tunes or something the only reason why people cant tell or notice this is because there are parts of this song covering the beat
#2 im pretty sur that a coule of years ago ndemic creations said something on their website or twitter sharing this song. If that is true (which i think it is) then they know about the song making me belive that it is a remix
But of course thats just a game theory ;)

I think it is time for round 5 with the new omicron variant.
I like this theme quite a lot. The game mode was already a good idea, as it's from the opposite perspective, but this theme makes it even better. It doesn't sound as evil as Plague Blossom.
Yeah especially when you hear 1:00-1:10.
The music makes you visualize the frantic pace of the doctors trying to cure the disease.
The loud heroic drums beating are the efforts of the WHO trying to contain this global outbreak, (much worse than covid). While the eerie piano piece is the disease spreading silently as it claims more and more victims.
Then at 1:13 you can envision riots as all of this chaos is happening around the world.

IMO, the cure mode is more difficult to play than the default diseases mode.
But DAMN, what a clever update, especially in midst of what the world is going through right now. And the soundtrack is perfect.

@@elgatovolador2615 the whole game you balance your authority, the cure and people not cooperating with your safety measures on normal plauge mode you only balance the cure in the last minutes of the game (not counting nano virus).

Playing fungus and beyond will make you sweat (like a lot)
would be cool to see how they deal cure mode for the special plague types
The most annoying part in this game is the people that says no need to lockdown

Plague inc is one of the few times where playing as the good guy feels really good.
Game devs : its just a silly map game with red dots popping out of nowhere so don’t go crazy ok ?

I love how much more urgent this song sounds than the vanilla plague inc ost. Its a fun change in perspective
This actually feels like it has real life consequences, even after 3 years later. cure mode feels so heroic but at the same time nerve-racking and the fear of losing. primarily when you play bio-weapon on mega brutal in cure mode. Makes it a constant struggle as you desperately try to do at least something to stop it or even save something. because you are the worlds only hope, and losing means you truly failed.humanity. it gives me chills honestly. and the fact that i honestly feel guilty when i lose because of the amount of people that died/were dying and i wasn’t able to keep my promise of saving humanity. it honestly gives off that feeling.
Makes me appreciate every researcher and doctors out there around the world, i can't imagine the mental burden they carry with failing to do the one single thing they were supposed to do, preserve and save lives...

You know, often when an artist "writes what they know", the resulting product ends up being a lot more beautiful/awe-inducing/emotional, whatever you wanna call it. This song and this game are no exception.
I haven't cried playing Cure Inc yet, but I've been pretty close.
There's no way it's a coincidence that I'm better at curing the Virus better than anything else in the game, either. It's the only one where I've been able to save the world with less than a million deaths. (Mind you that I've only played through in casual so far to unlock specialists.)
When people said that the core game mode made them tear up a little, I thought they were kidding. Evidently they just have a better imagination than me, because with the broader picture Cure Inc paints I can totally see why some people would react a lot worse to this than me.

I like this music. Calm, but it evokes the feeling that says : "Focus. One mistake, We're all dead." feeling, suits perfectly because YOU are the Leader of scientists that will cure the world.
This one actually sounds like you're some kind of hero while the plagu music makes you sound like the villain

I like how this gamemode is quite more complex than the original, I can’t wait how it will be with the special plagues
Wonder if we'll get to legalize public brawling or declare that every day is Christmas.
Yeah, unlike the main game, where you're quite hands off and can't really decide where exactly the disease goes, cure mode is a lot more involving as you constantly have to move your field operatives around, declare lockdowns, lift lockdowns, follow the disease's tracks and respond to authority losses. You're a lot more directly involved, which is good fun.

If you use the infinite funds cheat and buy everything before the plague starts, you can beat the game without a single death, which I find incredible

I adore this tune. It's like a blend of triumph over the odds, fear of the unknown and mourning over those we lose along the way.
A perfect theme for a Armageddon-level threat from exponentially powerful bio-weapon that is rapidly consuming, while you desperately struggle to stop it and save at least something.

Second comment:I personally like this theme the best. I loved z com falls, adverse reactions. I loved all the songs right they were all great, they showed you what it’s like to be the one in control the driving rage here to end all of life with your mighty power. Hell at times it’s terrifying for example Necroa was scary-ish since it was the upbringing of an apocalypse of mindless humans built for battle and destruction by a disease that can no longer be cured. Simian was like a rise of a new dawn, the planet of the apes and their rise. Neurax clicked with me the most as it’s assuming direct control and it makes you worship it it’s honestly scary depressing and despair inducing. But the reason I like cure mode theme the most is because you have a sense of what it feels like to be on the fighting side the reacting bastion and the song has everything that you feel as the humans, despair, hope, tragedy, success, failure, desperation, fear, and death. It’s beautiful to hear that, it reminds you that humans are not always bad and can be one of if not the most beautiful species ever, their will to persevere, live, and their ability to care. Believe it or not humans naturally feel the need to care and be good it’s just we grow up influenced otherwise. When our backs are against the wall that instinct is brought out even more so. Humanity is truly beautiful sometimes and this song represents it perfectly. (The people who don’t comply just don’t know better if they were in your position then they would have a change of heart unless their a Karen let’s be honest they’re all brain dead)
Some don’t comply simply because they can’t afford to. That’s why Cure Mode has Economic relief options to reduce non compliance
