I'm happy to be one of the og that knew tellybridge(I don't know how do it, I just knew that it existed) I remember on January 2021, the telly bridge videos blown up and yt like trycs got a lot of subs.

3:32 when you tap on a flat surface it is exactly the same as holding space even if you do a perfect tap, it is only when you are going up that it makes it faster, which is why if you perfect tap a 4b flat you still get 1.05 void time and not 1.0

a couple notes:
some of your normal telly clips are tapped incorrectly; you have to tap when you are going up a block.
you also forgot to talk about 1.05 flats lol. they actually have potential to be implemented into world records, unlike chained flats.
also you didn’t mention some really skilled players who would be contestants for wr if they were active (like crimssel).
at the time 1.05 flats had less if not the same potential as chained flats because nobody could consistently gain momentum (this was before gain keystrokes)

flats r cool, but i dont see how they are faster than the normal 3b+1 speed because flats have a 12 tick jump cycle while speeds have a 9 tick (i believe). since this means that speeds let you sprint jump considerably more often how could flats be faster?
p.s. i understand why flats are faster *starting off* the bridge cuz of a much later start but im just saying throughout the bridge
@@Ekuy1 im no expert on this but remember that when u jump off the last speed u have to wait until u land and if ur doing 4b flats that time is going to be way lower since ur already at the level of the pressure plates if that makes sense, so ig maybe that could save a tick or 2
they are the same speed if im correct
@@lolliprop8481 the thing is ur vertical momentum accelerates so the total time it takes u to fall off a full speed is slightly less than the added up extra times of doing flats+the reduced fall at the end
so if minecraft ran on a tickrate like 40 or 80 then speeds would almost definitely be faster imo
