I bought this watch for my son. When you receive it, the day name will probably be in another language. Resolve this by pulling the stem out ONE CLICK, and scrolling through the names until you find your language. Push the stem back in. To adjust the day number, the hour and the minute, pull the stem out TWO CLICKS.
Agree this is the best color way out of the SRPGs. The numerals don't shimmer on the SRPG35, thus will be easy to read in all light conditions and I love the 100% bead blasted case!
The more I look the more I like. Although case thickness, lack of sapphire and lumed numbers give me pause, the overall design/size/colorway, plus the guts and 10 bar have all got my finger on the trigger.
@@susrev88 Sadly, no. The case width was the dealbreaker. Got the Seiko 'MACV-SOG' repro instead and haven't looked back. Still might pick this one up someday, tho.
Question, just received mine. Pics do it no justice. Only question is does seiko ha e new serial numbers??? The first two numbers on my serial number are 58 which means Theo old way of looking up would mean it was manufactured August 2015?? Otherwise I love it.
To improve your presentation, please add information the company does not provide. Specifically, the bezel dimensions. One weakness to the watch model is the need to add an additional bezel protector because the bezel case definitely can be scratched, cracked. It is not sapphire. So, a way to draw in subscribers is to add the information the company does not provide because pointing it out would not be in their marketing interests. I recommend purchasing a protective cover with this model.
I bought one and sent it back, the Hamilton Khaki has white strong numerals, this Seiko had aminic weak diminished color that looked like the Hamilton might in 200 yrs. when the paint gives out. What a huge miss for Seiko. really guys..

Domed mineral crystal with no AR coating kind of makes this void. It's a shame because if it had a flat sapphire with AR it would be good.

Thickness of 13.2 ! Yikes. I’d prefer they do away with the see thru case back to make it a bit thinner.
