Mark, I can't thank you enough for all 4 of the B1 videos. I was researching whether or not to buy the new B1X units and your B1 videos helped me make the decision. There were were on-point, clear, concise and step-by-step. You speak slowly and clearly. You have effectively taken the manual and made it into a video. I set the two B1Xs up and just go through the steps as you do in the video (over and over). (I bought the 2 light location kits and the Air TTL transmitter for Nikon). And I did get up out of my chair and go out side and shoot! Would you be open to a visit to your area for one-on-one training? Kindest regards!

Are you able to plug in unit directly to outlet to power it for shooting? In case battery dies but you still need to shoot

There is no way to plug into power outlet that I know of. You need a charged battery.

Hi Jeager... I am having a problem, maybe you know how to resolve it. I went to my Nikon D800 menu and adjusted Flash Sync Speed to 1/320* - but it did not show Hi-S on my Profoto Air Remote.
I can only select either 1st or 2nd Sync and no Hi-S. Now.. on my camera I am only limited to 1/320 and there is no chance to set 1/8000, it is just blocked.
I can change to 1/8000 only when Profoto Air Remote is switched off. Following this I cannot I cannot se the exposure to fire B1 and see the two brackets. Do you know what causes that?
    Thank you in advance.

Profoto lights are very expensive and very unreliable.

Profoto lights are three times costlier
But I chose to buy thinking it to be the best , I bought a profoto B1 and the battery failed to charge and I could never use it and all my money was wasted.

I live in a small town in India. My niece lives in trinidad She had bought it from
B&h USA.And she brought it when she came to India to meet her mother. What can I do now.
Perhaps I am an unlucky person,Profoto is such a big company and B&h is such a reputable place to buy.
But thank you very much for your kind reply and advice.
      P.S
English is not my language I might have made several mistakes writing this note.Sorry about that.
