I think it's still Calcutta, maybe because it's the first of theirs I heard. But, in general, I'm not big on singular favorites, I'm more a "[Song/Aritst] is perfect for right now" kinda guy.
How dare you tell me to subscribe as if I weren't already! :D Even if this had been my first video I were to see of yours, I would have subscribed real quick. Your content is great man.
When you eventually get through your reactions to Sleep Token and have a chance to go back and listen to all three albums in order, you'll see how special what they accomplished in this trilogy of albums really is. 👍
@@Tonylytics Once you're done falling in love with the band, take it all the way from the start, EPs, then the albums in chronological order. You will not regret it : )
My favorite quote from this: “They’re good at making sounds.” It made me laugh before you extrapolated, because a lot of reviewers get completely overwhelmed by this song.
It was overwhelming in the sense of how they're ascending the metal genre out of the norm. It's all very impressive. Haha, and when I said "good at making sounds", I hope everyone understood that I meant clear VST creations, from oscillation, manual panning, phasing, pitch shifting, etc lots of work and patience.
Loved your reaction and have subscribed! So refreshing to see a musician focus on the music rather than getting caught up in the (admittedly awesome) visualizer. Yes, it is a story so if you're keen, listen to the three albums in order, read up on a bit of the Lore and we'll be here for it. Pretty sure this track was the one that coined the term "baby making metal/music" which is fairly apparent. After requesting that they not be defined by genre, they inadvertently created another one. Enjoy the ride. WORSHIP!
Thank you!!! And yes, they definitely have ascended the music genre with their style, and I just hope everyone who comes across listening to these guys, can grasp the technicality behind their well crafted musicianship.😊
Enjoyed your reaction! That last piece that you feel you've heard before is the part that originally blew up Sleep Token on TikTok last year! For another heavy track, try Vore. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
Will Ramos of Lorna Shore does a cover of Rain by Sleep Token with Nik Nocturnal and it’s insane, would love to see your take on it. Just found your channel and subbed!
Thank you! I do have that one on my list, because I loved Rain, and I apparently came out from living under a rock, hearing Lorna Shore for the first time just over a week ago, so... yeah, i'm pumped!
What is your favorite sleep token song?

Alkaline, closely followed by Hypnosis.
If you´re checking out anything else, Alkaline has a sweet video too.
Euclid closely followed by Atlantic
Euclid by feel. Levitate by experience
Hard to choose one but the music and emotion that pours out of the song “High Water” is genius.
Acensionism is a must!!! Worship…🖤
I will have to add that one. Haven't heard it before :)
My favorite! That song alone got me hooked to ST instantly.
One of the best albums I have heard in about 20 years.
Take me back to Eden?
@@Tonylytics yes
@@tjh5716 going to need a run through of it. I have ascensionism on my list btw :)
Here to Worship ❤
Enjoyed your reaction. Hope you do more. Chokehold, Ascensionism and The Apparition.
Acensionism is on my reaction list. I have listened to chokehold already, so I can't react to it lol 😕
(It's a bomb song)
This reaction is so gold! Commentary was spot on!
Thank you :)
Absolute WORSHIP ❤😌

Someone else mentioned that as well, and I plan on doing so!
Sleep Token - The Offering ... Enough said lol
This song was fire 🔥

Thank you. Vore is by sleep token?
@@Tonylytics Yes. It's off of the same album as The Summoning.
@@brianalmeida1964 thank you! I will add that to my list :)
You should deep dive sleep token. The night does not belong to good. First song off of their first full length album.
Thank you for the suggestion. I will have to dive deep into this band, they're so talented 😁
The tuning is D# on an 8 string. So pretty dang low.
Wow, thank you for the specs on their build! ☺️
