Hi guys.. thanks Marion for the reply on instagram.. I was curious if you had trouble getting reservations with only a couple days notice or not at all.. Doing the Divide this summer. Starting Ju ne 5. We have enjoyed your videos and will pretty much be following your schedule. So sad to see on your site that Brush Mtn Lodge will be closed this summer. We will definitely have to look at another destination . We are camping when we have to but hotel when possible. if you have any suggestions please feel free to give us your input... So glad I saw this bit of info on Brush Mtn... Thanks Jeanne
Hi Jeanne, we had no issue finding rooms. But of course uncertainty remains, can lead to unexpected situations. If you take these with a smile, no problem 😉
Wonderful, wonderful Marion and Fred! I enjoyed your video again. I hope to ride the GDMBR next year (northbound as well). What temperature did you have during the day? By the way: the mountain in the background in the picture with the Mule-ears is Hahn's Peak (3284 m) if I am not wrong.
Thanks, Bill! Generally, we had warm temperatures in the 70-80C, except for mornings, when it was still pretty cold many times… for mornings and evenings and high elevations we had leg and arm warmers and a packable down jacket… during the day, it was hot in NM, of course!
@@MarionandFred She's doing well, just an understandable bit of burnout. She is taking the time to regroup and figure out how to scale up the place as they get more and more riders every year.
You two are extremely good at two things: Climbing steep mountains by bike and capturing the landscape on camera at the same time: Congratulations!
Thaaaank you 🤩
Danke, Peter!

Awwww thanks!!!
Fantastic. Great wolf flowers and singing. I remember going the other way before Clark. Rocks were plentiful:-)
Thank you Bret! This was indeed a technical climb up there. Fun downhill I am sure :)

Thaaank you Bill! I checked for Hahn's Peak, thanks for that. More videos to come and always highly appreciated to get your feedback and insights 😀
It's too bad Brush Mtn lodge will be closed this summer.
Do you actually know why? I hope she is doing fine.

Oh wow, we were lucky last year!
Hi Marion and Fred, what grip / pole do you use in conjunction with the GoPro?
Hi Bill, Go Pro Shorty Mini Mount. Very handy and flexible.
