the problem is that Shikamaru never met Boruto since chapter 79, and don't forget also that Amado took 3 years to understand his memories were altered. The omnipotence begins to fall apart when Boruto arrives at the village and decides to beat the code to save Konoha.Sasuke could have realised it because he saw boruto face to face
Sasuke became suspicious that things may not be as they seem because of how Sadara vouched for him and how much Boruto reminded him of Naruto. So it seems that the things that give it away is when they have memories that conflict with what their mind is telling them is real.
The thing is Amado didn’t actually take 3 years, he said he could instantly tell that Kawaki had his special karma seal. He just didn’t say anything about it for 3 years
Plus he could sense Momoshiki's presence in Boruto, not Kawaki

Sasuke also realized it when Sarada gain her mangekyou sharingan. Unlike Sasuke Sarada's Sharingan abilities awaken through love and not hatred.
Essentially whether he realizes it or not, Code is an accidental alchemist. The way he squeezed and remolded the body of the ten tails into brand new beings carrying his claw marks isn't normal + his chakra caused an evolution in select claw grimes that had them evolve into beings with personality with the help of a consumed host (tree'd people) being a template for their design (similar to how our parents genetics decide how we look).
The white karma is serious and should be focused on going forward imo.
Nah Sasuke only questioned his memories because of Sarada activating the mangekyō and asking him to help boruto. Amado only questioned his memories because of Kawaki’s design. All Shikamaru needed was one instance to make him second guess himself and he got that by hearing Amado. He’s most definitely a genius still.

That’s actually a good point. He flew and masked his chakra signature, both otsutsuki abilities. Clearly he has no problem with that. Karma should theoretically apply here too BUT there could be a difference that causes him to avoid it depending on stuff with momoshiki we don’t know about yet. Just as an example, Sasuke may have been cool with using snake abilities he got from orochimaru while theoretically avoiding the curse mark out of fear of orochimaru taking over during the itachi pursuit arc. That didn’t actually happen obviously but the theoretical idea could have existed, and something similar could apply to boruto but we don’t know yet. I do wanna see mitsuki contending with karma timeskip boruto though for sure

@@kamuidimension there is no way mitsuki can contend with timeskip boruto even without karma. but wait for the fact that only mitsuki is guarding Eida, deamon and kawaaki, it means he is capable, well we will wait for the fight between boruto and mitsuki, I hope it doesn't dissappoint, let it not be like Code vs boruto, where boruto will one shut mitsuki easily.
Every chapter is better than the last one
Generally speaking the last few have been that way lol. I do think chapters 2 and 3 weren’t as good as chapter 1 though but they turned it back around the last 3 chapters imo
I mean Shikamaru had no reason to question if his memories were fabricated. Amado on the other side said it, he is scientist and for him there is only one way of truth, the one that facts are pointing to, in his case Kawaki's modified body plus reconstructed karma. Shikamaru did not have anything like that to start questioning it so it make sense he started to doubt his memories only after Amado said what he said. I think last 2 chapters showed us Shikamaru's 200 IQ beautifully. Hearing stuff explained by Amado, he was very quick to catch glimpses of fact that something is not ok, he immediately tried to look at reversed roles of Kawaki and Boruto and understood that something is indeed wrong.
I still think shikamaru SHOULD question it given that Sasuke did. There’s just a lot of reasons to question it, I go on a rant in a video I’ll have out fairly soon ish. But yes I agree that THIS chapter showed off his high iq!!! That’s what I loved about it. It felt so shikamaru once again
not really sasuke had sarada unlocking mangekyou, that wouldnt happen for nothing, so it still stands shika had no reason, sasuke and amado had more solid evidence @@kamuidimension

I think Mitsuki only caught up to boruto this time because he put a tracking snake on him to know his location. He learned his lesson from the last time 🤣
He did the same when shojoji almost ate borutos brain, Mitsuki use his snake to track down boruto.
As far as tracking goes, that’s fine, but that wouldn’t affect his speed. The problem is that mitsuki is just TOO FAST for base boruto to just get away so quickly 😂, not to mention the sensing powers mitsuki should gain from his sage mode, and not to mention how Sasuke tracked boruto down so easily with even less sense of direction to work with

Mitsuki was already really really fast on sage mode before the time skip.
He'll be at least 3 times faster now.
It wouldn't make sense for Shikamaru to put the pieces together before hearing Amado because It was easy for him to dismiss Sarada and Sumire when they base their argument on emotion but hearing Amado confess his own suspicions is what finally made the dominos fall for Shikamaru. Sarada and Sumire's plea's make more sense now that he's seeing things in the proper context. Add on the fact that it all hinges on Eida - who Shikamaru does not trust - telling the truth, and it makes perfect sense for Shikamaru to finally start to question his memories. Shikamaru is still a genius, the fact that he pieced it together so quickly proves that, but he's always a step behind Amado.
ALWAYS a step behind Amado for sure. That said, he just needed to consider the possibility, that’s it. Sasuke did it, why can’t shikamaru?
@@kamuidimension Because Sasuke did it based on something like his daughter and Momo presence being in Boruto and the headband. When it was first casted he wanted to kill Boruto, it was not until he saw Sarada awaken MS did he start to consider something was amiss but we expect Shikimaru with nothing to work with to do it how? Based on what. You said consider it as a possibility but based on what. Unless you just want him to assume without proof something is wrong .
@kamuidimension Shikamaru didn't have access to the information that Sasuke and Amado do. He can't sense momoshiki inside Boruto and he can't analyze Karma and see concrete proof of identity. Shikamaru had nothing to base a conclusion on before chapter 6
I disagree on a few things. The only reason mitsuki caught up to boruto was because he had a tracker on him. He for sure would've lost him without it. Shikamaru not realizing the truth about boruto until amado pointed it out makes complete sense because shikamaru would be more reliant on what he knows than what he sees because looks can be deceiving, especially in the ninja world, and the only reason Amado doubted his memory is cause he recognized his work and physical evidence is everything to Scientist.

Bro, the subconsciousness of Eida was such a good theory, that I've never heard anyone else talking about, but it makes so much sense!! I could totally see her willingness to help Kawaki go down quite significantly.

Actually looking at the chapter itself I’ll say in regards to mitsuki vs boruto … I think boruto is testing mitsuki at the sametime which is why he chose to fly instead of using flying raijin to potentially give mitsuki a fight to see what he’ll be capable of against the Shinju bc boruto will need allies against this army of shinju plus code just waiting in the shadows so who knows but that’s my theory and it’s obvious shikamaru was staying the course him not accepting the hokage position makes sense bc it’s a drag lol but from jump shikamaru never trusted Kawaki nor Amado or eida or daemon so him putting the clues together late would sum it up but also how it got that way would point towards eida omnipotence and charm ability having a second ability and Kawaki’s obsession with lord 7th… shikamaru doesn’t know boruto protected sasuke daughter from Kawaki and lost his eye due too that then shortly after omnipotence happened but before the role reversal happened shikamaru was advising everyone to go after Kawaki so it would actually make perfect since bc things would add up and make sense …so going back to mitsuki vs boruto gotta understand boruto was never a match for mitsuki before bc mitsuki indeed had sage power back then whereas boruto didn’t just a karma he barely knew how to control now that boruto is a otsutsuki now he stands more than a chance for mitsuki but i see this playing out as mitsuki realizes something about boruto and stops himself before boruto is forced to take him down for good bc he is sasukes student after all and im sure sasuke taught him sure kill techniques plain and simple the flying raijin easily the best assasination technique stacked on top of a vanishing rasengan plus a purple lighting chidori cloak bc his chakra nature is lighting and so a invisible rasengan , quicker than the speed of lightning got instant transportation and teleportation technique like dude mitsuki better have a more than just those lighting snakes and speed blitzing abilities bc boruto literally one shots him..on everything power ,speed and physical capabilities but sage mode is effective against otsutsuki’s but if Boruto actually tries like dude is done boruto literally got limited future sight as a bonus perk of being mixed with momoshiki whether he’s genius enough to tap into it or not is up to him but he has it at his disposal so to me this is to test mitsuki and see how he will stack up against the shinju if code or that small lil shinju organization decides to attack Konoha..besides someone gotta protect Sarada and Himawari 🤷🏽♂️💯… if Boruto decides to let Kawaki keep his lie going and just decides to beat his ass using ninja techniques showing him he doesn’t need to rely on karma learning from his earlier mistakes of using ninja tech to cheat now he can perform those techniques with his own chakra and merits of a true shinobi 🥷 hence the saying I’m still a shinobi even though they’re literally a alien now and a alien cyborg lol the parallels between coexistence of technology vs manual labor 🤷🏽♂️

I get that aspect but Sasuke didn’t say he believes boruto because of sarada, he’s just helping boruto because of sarada. Sarada never said who boruto was she just asked Sasuke to help him, and Sasuke trusted her judgement. But he still found things to be troubling him and questioned the dependability of his memories, that’s more so what I’m looking at

We already know physical proof isn't enough, and if anyone is going to understanding significance of mangekyo awakening its Sasuke. Also sasuke was already running to save Boruto before he even found out about the headband and that mommoshiki is in Boruto.

Thanks for the input on the Shibai/Code DNA theory I would love to know your opinion on how Shibai could appear in the story. Shibai Ootsutsuki is Boruto's Madara Uchiha, simply inevitable. Thinking about the theory that Eida's powers are "weakening", I would find a very possible scenario, the connection with Kawaki could also imply that she "stops believing in love" could cause a break in the jutsu too, being a beautiful outcome for this shinjutsu controlled by a teenager. But stopping to think a little, I believe that the biggest issue is Amado, the impression he gave me is that he used Kira's movement (death note) in Konoha. Eida's interference could have been in his plans, but he entered “too early” but it should have served to facilitate entry into Konoha. Kira erased her memories to infiltrate the police and used the death note to remember everything. The “artist’s marks on karma” made me think that he could have left “hints” for a case of memory manipulation and managed to stay focused on his “main plan”.
I think Shikamaru had a feeling something was off. But with no proof he pushed it to the side.

.Surveiling Amado
He was waiting for something that would allow him to act on that feeling. So, its not just Amado but all these other factors.
With the position he's in, he has to very careful with this revelation.
I think that makes a lot of sense too, but it seems like shikamaru should’ve considered the possibility regardless. Amado didn’t really reveal anything new to shikamaru. They already were under the impression that Kara was the one who modified Kawaki’s body, and they already knew that Amado was the head scientist of Kara who modified all of Kara’s cyborgs, so obviously Amado would’ve had to be the one who modified Kawaki’s body, not to mention that Kawaki’s ninja tech and karma seal was the exact same as what they remembered boruto having lol. All Amado did was mention memory altering, which i think shikamaru should’ve considered on his own
@@kamuidimension Even with Omnipotence, Shikamaru's suspicions of Amado would remain unchanged. Then again, he wouldn't question Kawaki since he's in Boruto's position. Until Sarada kept telling him about Kawaki. I assume Kawaki didn't use his ninja tech during this time.
Then, did Amado know the full three years? If he did why keep it hidden this long? Like Shikamaru said everything that's happened feels like a script Amado has written out and is going according to plan. Who's to say that Shikamaru had to change the way he approached this situation?
Good stuff. As far as Mitsuki catching Boruto before the timeskip, it can be explained in a few ways; mainly in that Mitsuki got faster by unlocking his abilities through training.
He was already wayyyyy faster than boruto before though, but it is what it is lol. I’m glad that at least NOW it’s going accurately, meaning it’s trending upwards, rather than the other way around. And thank you!
I think this puts to bed the “jura is Kawaki” crowd. They keep brining up Isshiki whether it’s the hovering above the village, the 6 paths tomoe on his stomach, leaning on a cube for the DAiko, and this one of Boruto BLANTANTLY STATING that Codes Karma given to him from Isshiki is probably responsible for the claw grimes.
The author is just blatantly spelling it out for us that’s Jura is Isshiki.

I think It's Shibai DNA or Chakra in the claw marks that modified the Ten tails in that way. I think Jura seem to have a Cube like Ishikki because Shibai also have the "Darma Gan" the Cube design is different than Kawkis and Ishikki

I really think u crack the code with the theory of eida omnipotence progressively getting weaker through her subconscious desires of helping kawaki throughout the years keep getting lower due to how kawaki is acting
We can see kawaki is lowkey self destructing himself due to his actions. Not only that we can also see how that is rubbing eida the wrong way severely more and more
And with that. That can explain why at first the omnipotence which would swipe out any doubts Are now letting the doubts override abit.
But with omnipotence still in play it's still hard to overcome but can possibly get easier the more kawaki is self destructing himself and rubbing bad energy to eida

Yeah and there’s levels to her desire for the switch that make it need to stay intact for now, but it could still be weakening. It’s really good for eida and Kawaki’s characters imo but I do have 1 counter argument to it that makes it a little less likely

By now, Shikamaru knows his memories have been altered thanks to hearing Amado's theory of the Omnipotence, and he also knows that Boruto is Naruto's real son, not Kawaki. He'll soon find out the truth about what actually happened three years ago. And when he does, not only he, along with Himawari (who wants to help Boruto and knows he's a good person), will be on the same boat as Sarada and Sumire, Kawaki's true nature will be exposed, and his lies will come to an end.

Sasuke figured it out as soon as he saw Boruto because he’s the only person who can fully sense momoshiki. Amado probably noticed early too the moment he played around with Kawaki’s Kama. Omnipotence is slowly failing, I wouldn’t be surprised if the fight ends with Mitsuki realising he’s memories, the whole “the sun to my moon” stuff and just personality matches with Boruto and he’s ideology . Heck, he probably has noticed that kawaki is nothing like the person he used as a blueprint to humanity

Well, shikamaru is getting older and his laziness is probably affecting him too. Maybe he stopped using his high intellect because he was sad about Naruto's death for a while until Amado brought up this new revelation. Between eida, kawaki and Daemon, Eida will receive more hate from konoha than kawaki because she's the one who lied by confirming Naruto's death, the villagers might think that she's the mastermind who brainwashed kawaki Uzumaki if boruto or the shinju don't reveal the truth soon. Kawaki wouldn't care even one bit about her tho.
All villagers currently see her as someone important just like kawaki Uzumaki and Naruto. I even think no one will help her when shinju bug comes, Daemon might be the one to fight bug but who'll keep code in check? Code is going to fight eida while Daemon is busy with bug, I'm certain about this. Boruto and the others will be focused on the other shinju.

I'm saying this because maybe just like how kashin Koji wasn't affected by omnipotence thanks to sage mode and natural energy, orochimaru and mitsuki's snakes might also be unaffected, even kabuto might not be affected by omnipotence, he might eventually show up to konoha with the shin Uchiha army to fight the shinju and code's claw grimes as well.

Narratively it doesn’t make sense for Mitsuki to even land a hit. U can’t have boruto one tap Code (who is stronger than Naruto and sauske combined) and then have him struggle against Mitsuki. That would imply Mitsuki is stronger than them as well which I think it’s too early in the story for that
Its weird that sarada remembers boruto you would think its from the indra bloodline but if thats the case sauske would remember and sumire its obvious why she remembers could be one of the powers of nue
I hope that boruto doesn’t go all out but is winning g convincingly until boruto escapes but the purpose of the battle is to plant the seed boruto is more of a son then kawaki planting that seed and starting an internal crisis leading to mitsuki’s own arc and makes it more meaningful when he goes back to his fitful place by boruto side

It’s not the sexist theory, but perhaps the reason why Mitsuki couldn’t find Boruto in chapter 80 was simply because he couldn’t track Boruto’s hidden Otsusuki chakra. In the timeskip, Mitsuki made sure to plant a snake on Boruto showing that he’s been waiting for this moment and adjusted his tactics so he wouldn’t let Boruto escape this time.
When Boruto put a frog and was able to catch Code, people praised him and called him a prodigy.
But when Mitsuki put a snake inside borutos pants and caught up to him, it's not impressive lol

I think the jutsu is like mind transfer in the sense of you need to know the exact location, but you also need to know the chakra signature. Even though he erases his chakra, she definitely knows what his chakra signature is & using the help of Eida giving Ino the exact location of boruto I think that’s how she’s able to use the Justu specifically with boruto

I think this is a better matchup than people think. Since the perfect counter to the Otsutsuki (which Boruto is 100%) is SAGE MODE & TAIJUTSU.

I think we’re finally going to get the scene with kawaki’s face having blood fulfilled. After the battle (where i dont think anything significant will happen besides us finding out that nature energy/sage mode is a big weakness to otsutsuki/boruto) kawaki will show up to the scene and try to seriously hurt mitsuki for making him unconscious and others will show up etc.
I’d like it if we finally saw that scene but it was pretty clearly a part 1 vision as Kawaki looks much older now so that would also be a little odd but hey whatever works at this point 🤣
