$5,000. Forget about it! (And thats JUST the core with snow blowing).

if you compare it to the price of a decent ride-on lawnmowers, it's not too bad

@@justus1995 Lawnmower attachment? That's another $1000. Previously I converted their GBP price to USD, but turns out they really do charge over $3000 more to the UK for the product.

@@justus1995 Well, a ride-on lawnmower will work for 20 years or even more. I have a lawn mower that was made in 1989 and it still works. This thing - as soon as a company disables their server all you have is a pile of parts. And it might happen a year from now. That's one of the main reasons why i'm hesitant to buy any robotic lawnmower.

As someone who had back surgery, this would have been a saver. I could get to the car safer since picking up 1kg of snow was a struggle

Inductive charging is nice because it’s simple and robust, but it is also very inefficient. You waste about half the energy compared to using a normal connector, and for something like this that uses a fair amount of energy that isn’t very good for the planet.

Yeah, that's a cool robot, but i'm not sure it's a good idea to spend 10k euro on a snow blower.

Could you see a version to clear ground brush in hills or woods area cities to prevent flash fires like we have now in California. Not during the fire but before the fire to cut down brush and chop it up and maybe plow a path of dirt for a fire break. We had an idea for such a device 30 years ago but no funding. Image using this base for such a micro level brush clearing autonomously for home owners or communities. Working at a Mirco level to begin the preventative actions needed. A gang or swarm f Yarbo machines if worked in organized manor map the area, divide the space, cover the area clearing brush and creating GPS markers for bigger trees. Share all the map data and markers with bigger manned machine. Create an group of machines to keep houses, communitutuies, towns even cities safe from Wild Fire. On the big farms we can harvest with 4 or 5 big combines using GPS guidance. Imagine Swarms of these Yarbo machine with a arm or two on top, and a wood chipper in back, as a collective clearing fire lanes year around as needed. Ask one of your professors if this is a worthy grad school project. D

Any ideas? Might be hard to design a custom module for it as it won't integrate with the app. But maybe just something to attach to the back to collect the grass or leafs?
