I almost gave up but instead, I took a break. It’s hard revisiting traumas. I’m admitting this here. I have sabotaged myself by not knowing and being good at all the technical stuff for self-publishing. I’m ashamed. You are what keeps me coming back. Keeps me motivated to learn, write, and explore all the book ideas I have, and still want to share this creative gift I’ve always had. You’re the reason I haven’t given up on myself. You’re so right about “leaving hustle culture” and moving into a place of consistency and gratitude and intention and self-belief … Oh and astrologically, on Jan 20/21 (depending on time zone) Pluto (planet of transformation) moved from Capricorn(sign of “work”) and into Aquarius (sign of the collective and social change and the better good”)…. And this begins another 21 YEAR cycle!!! So I’m adding a “21 year goal” to my 90’day, 1-3-5 year goals…. I’ll be 82 in 2045…❤🎉
I love your long chatty videos! After a long day of trying to balance writing and work and mom life, it's like catching up with a soul aligned writing friend. Your insights and advice are so sympatico with where I am at in my writing life. I don't usually watch other people's long videos, but I look forward to yours. ❤
Boo hiss to "should" energy 👏 that's something I've really come to realise over the last month and a bit; anytime I start a sentence would "I should" it means "I don't want to and I'm prolly not going to" 😝 On the vane of 10 minute videos, I like to look at it in terms of the community you want to create. If you want to connect with the type of people that like in depth, conversational, less scripted videos, then 10 minute videos aren't (typically) the way to go with that 💜 totally get you regarding the point of comparison though when you see other people in or around your niche finding success doing that type of stuff. Boo hiss to the comparison trap too!
I LOVE the format of your videos.
