I use a soft paint brush to deposit the mica powder where it needs to go.
Then I use a dry microfiber cloth to rub the drills gently.
You are doing a great job.

I definitely learned a few things doing this. Mostly what not to do 😂😂

I would use a makeup brush for blending . It is a finer bristle and might work better . Or get a baby tooth brush . They are really soft bristled and allow the mica to spread better .

Good ideas! I hope I never have to do it again honestly. I am finding that fine glitter everywhere 😵🤦🏼‍♀️

I did the same newbie shopping before I discovered DAC. I get it 😁. Never going back. Now I have to de-stash/ give away…but I’d hate to lose friends because I have them a crappy canvas😂

😂 If I give someone a budget canvas I always warn then that there are better quality ones out there but this one can give you an idea if you want to spend the money on that or not. Ive had such bad luck with square acrylic drills that I will do everything in my power to only get resin squares 😂

It’s definitely an alternative to the other powder, but I’d regret doing it inside! 😂 you’re extremely brave for that!
