Can you put these in the oven to set instead of air drying?

Okay so I made some of these earlier this week... I was hoping mine would be powdery (I hadn’t watched this tutorial then!) but I’m wondering is it the water content that makes it crunchy? Like if I wanted it more powdery would I do less water? I’m just making them for fun to try and soothe my pica cravings 😂

So the water content doesn’t impact how powdery it comes out I found. What does impact it is if it dried air dried or dehydrated. Air dry it comes out crunchier and bigger pieces. If it’s dehydrated, it’s a much finer consistency like sand. Does that make sense?

Dani1010 ASMR yeah that makes perfect sense! I’ll have to get a dehydrator then

If you would put the starch in a larger bowl you wouldn't have taken a day and a half to mix it.

I never measure anything. The fun part is experimenting with different thicknesses and see what works for you! Some like it thinner than others. It all depends on what you like!
