Around my place they don't last long. Chicken is not a natural prey item for a fox, so they come in looking for chicken dinner they go out in a blaze of glory.
Reynard is not Happy with killing just one.i think it was 1979 he hung around and killed twelve of my chickens.it was at Valentine's day but fortunately it had been snowing so I tracked him down... after that day he hung from a post by my gate..
