  • In Uganda, we have seen students in boarding schools to have one sole residential caretaker per one, two, or even three hundred (yes, hundred) students. At Amazima, we believe it is a student's relationship with family, both spiritual and biological, that creates the best environment for them to grow into the young men and women that God has called them to be.
The family mentors at the Amazima School serve as the students' caretakers when they are away at school. There are three family mentors for every 24 students, a married couple, and a Ugandan Native. Along with modeling a biblical marriage, these mentors model what it means to follow Christ in everyday life.
Meet Zach, Mackenzie, and Jackie, the mentors of Hannah House. Hear them share about the transformation they've seen take place in their home through these relationships.
