Who should I do next?
It’s sad Taystee was so smart and had A lot of potential yet she ended up where she is
Vee was so good at manipulating Taystee, she gave her a sense of family that she knew Taystee wanted
The story may be told through the lens of Piper, but in my opinion Taystee is the protagonist. Whenever I think of OITNB I think of her...she is the face of it! 🧡
Vee would pick out children from a young age, groom, exploit and take advantage of them. She manipulated them and used the fact the that they didn’t have a home to make them work for her
okay but we gotta give taystee her credit some of her hairstyles were on point 😭
I get why Taystee got close to Vee. She was looking for a family and a mother figure she never had. Vee offered protection and a support she never really had.
I almost forgot how much I hated Vee until I saw this.
Poor Taystee. People like her are THE reason there needs to be major improvements in the child care and the criminal justice system.
I finally know why she beat the shit out of Badison for calling her “Taystee Girl” in season 6. It made her think of Vee and Vee ruined her life.
Taystees story is so sad she is so smart and full of life and no one gave her a chance 😫
Really heartbreaking to see Tash'a's life go down like this.. She's the ONE character who truly had a good heart, was smart, and had ambition. She deserved so much better.

I like how every time you see her in the flashbacks she's in a different place. There is no home. They're just constantly bouncing around apartment to apartment.

Taystee could have been Michelle Obama (in terms of success) if she just had a loving family.
Taystee’s mother should have fought harder for her to be apart of her family and live with her. It must have felt like she was being abandoned all over again. I do wonder if she ever met her mother again?
