This is some real Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9).
Ya know, I often wonder about that, too. Granted, I only recently added these STS9 tracks to UA-cam. But I really wonder sometimes ... we put up a 5-camera shot with dialed-in audio, and get 1/10th the views of some jiggly cel phone video from a festival. Oh well. Personally this is one of my favorite tracks from all the GrooveTV sessions..."Call" is a gem, and very rarely played. Be sure to check out the Ramone & Emiglio from the same set; it's the heat!

How does Sector 9 not rule the world?
If you don't hit the 20:39 mark, it doesn't count as a "view". Those jiggly cell phone vids are usually 4 mins long.
Wish I could see all 20 minutes of Zach. He's a machine of a drummer.

I just wish they still had live paintings and stage setups like this. Even at the show in Nola where they billed it just as Sector 9 it still felt way too much like the post 2009 stuff. This is where its at. Take it back to the basics.

For something a bit more edgey, check out the Ozric Tentacles.
+Nick Sisco The Tentacles were great. However, Ozric's talent level and Third Eye acquisition is a bit lower. No offense, even Howard Stern tested his crew for IQ. In other words, Sector 9 is more refined and has more of a profound footprint when all is said and done. Don't get me wrong, I was handed Ozric cassette tapes back in the day but they never had that IT factor that certain bands do. Ozric is cool, STS9 is cool, Phish is great, Pink Floyd is Cool, The Beatles are Kings, Deadmau5 is cool, No offense Joel.
