  • The sound of this show has been slightly modified to make it a little easier to hear everything.
In March, 2020, The Warning found themselves sidelined from their first North American tour by a global pandemic. On March 25, 2020, they played what is now referred to as the "Quarantine Show", using two iPhones to capture everything. We are watching the entire show, a couple of songs at a time.
The Warning is a rock band from Monterrey, Mexico, consisting of three sisters: Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal. They gained popularity through their UA-cam channel, where they posted covers of classic rock songs and eventually began showcasing their original music. The band's style is characterized by energetic performances, powerful vocals, and impressive musicianship.

This concert finally showcases Ale’s amazing bass playing and bg vocals and moves…. To hear her doing her bass slides with textbook perfect technique and time and consistency… with no compressor etc (she never uses one live)…. And completely comfortable all over the neck even when singing… she’s one of my true bass idols

Difficult not to love Ale. But something just occurs...the reason for her choreography being repetitious is it must help her to concentrate on hers and her sisters' timing...I mean the dips, deep knee bends, etc., are her way of keeping time?!? Somebody comment if you think I'm actually understanding or not!

Dany fights the guitar squeal when she turn up through the whole show (and other problems) but never lets it bother her.
Ale and Pau carry on a full blown conversation through some songs through lip reading and body gestures without distracting from the main show, I think Pau is working on Ale to sing lead.
Pau is up to Pau shenanigans behind her kit trying to get Dany and Ale to laugh.
Ale is paying attention to every detail of what’s happening in the room.
Dany’s keeping everything together like she’s herding cats which she was used to doing in their younger days.
All in all makes for a beloved show.

In their L.A. vlog, Ale says "I don't like it" but I'm sure she's referring to the line "I don't know how to be heartbroken". Because right before that she says " it's such a weird lyric". So, I don't believe its the song she doesn't like but that one line. Also Glenn, the audio sounds fine.

Can't keep my eyes off of Ale and Pau. They are so connected. Love how Ale lip-syncs almost every song.

Pau speaks Spanish like she drums! You gotta do the complementary video: Quarantine Show, Only The Funny Parts, it's a charming look at the 3 sisters being them selves!

Raw presentations like this, even if the image and sound quality are not the best, are very valuable because they allow us to see the true essence of the band and their capabilities... and the Villarreal sisters passed the test brilliantly.

So at this point I had found them a few months before and had bought tickets to their first official USA tour Cxl, who would have known that I would have to wait till November 2021 at Welcome to Rockville their first major U.S . Festival to see them live. Since that time, I have seen them live on 3 different concerts culminating with the Pepsi Center CDMX last October. VIVA THE WARNING 😎🤘❤️🔥

Fun Fact: DPA/TW's mother, Monica (aka Mony), got a writing credit for *The One* ... the girls came in, one day, and Mony was singing the song... except she was singing "left my heart exposed" instead of "made my heart explode" which was the original lyric... the girls liked it so much, they went right back to the studio and redid *The One* with the new lyric...

I remember watching this live and what a stress release it was for both the girls and us after the cancelation of their first US tour during the lockdown. I was at Rockville November 2021 for their first U.S. festival and first show after the pandemic. I still have my tickets to the Masquerade in Atlanta from the canceled tour.
BTW, Ale has been the coolest cat in the room at every stage of her life.

Thanks guys, this will always be one of my favorite 'The Warning' performance experiences.
And you know, I don't think Ale ever HATED the song - that kinda got blown outta proportion, - she just expressed that she felt the lyric "I dont know how to be heartbroken" was a weird lyric; perhaps due to her being so young.
Anywayyy... see yous in the next installment. 👊⚡️🤘

I don’t know if they’ve made some changes or if I’ve just noticed things differently due to the acoustics of the room. I’ve heard this concert before but just heard The One differently than I’ve ever noticed before. I’m probably not fully awake yet. Anyway. Thanks Happy Dany Day. ( oh yeah, caught your Galaxie 500 moment comment. Never thought of that.)
