When I first saw the trailer for the estates I was super excited to get the game, but needless to say after launch I've been hesitant.
nice, I was struggling with the shelving so thanks for the tip! I was thinking of sorting my inventory by Tier, so a shelf of wood, then bottom is crude, then going up T1 T2 T3. then a shelf of stone, shelf of metal, etc. I would of course only allow my helper access to the crude. the other option is to just put all the crude in one, then a shelf of T1 a shelf of T2 etc. that might be better
If you didn't know make sure you don't buy the basic sets of the t3 bases. There is an NPC you can talk to nearby the seller and if you exhaust their topics they will give you the basic set of each for free.
@@G4m3rRu Next to each tier3? it may be tier 2 basically for oriental, viking, and tudor sets. In the realms where the sets are sold there are npcs with the sellers speak to them first.
@@G4m3rRu in the ascended realms, there are a general essence trader and a 'tile-set' essence trader with another NPC by them - that extra NPC will give the basic set if you talk to them enough.
My portals are laid out in the exact same order, except my advanced ones are on the opposite side of my building. I've organised my materials in a very similar manner too - great minds think alike and all that!! Looks great :)
Great video, but you can more storage on your shelf unit. I managed to get two Angling Baskets positioned sideways per shelf, giving 10 baskets (150 slots) per shelf unit, upping that to 5 x Voyager's Steamer Trunk (200 slots) once the trunk recipe was obtained.
I look forward to get the pagode build set. Its so great whit all these workstations and augmentions. I am sadly not so organised as you. Its a great game!
Given the low build limit it might not work, but a little street with street lamps and benches, and a tiny alchemist's shop, put the food prep area in the pub, a big shed for the lumber yard, etc. Build a little village. Then a little cottage for yourself.
Great video! I am really struggling with how to arrange my crafting stations and which augments to use. Can you do a video explaining what you are doing with those?
holy that's an insane amount of portals. and i have no idea what ascended realms. looks like the game is more deep then i thought. with work and all i just don't have a lot of time to play yet.
The plant pots and boxes are very buggy, I have 6 plant boxes and 3 plant pots atm, all in the open to gain rain water all with a seed, Weirdly none have grown for a while after a dozen rain storms
I have done a few runs with you too (seen your toon) I also have a quick question for you too How do you name your portals? i have like 17 of them and i forget which is which all the time
Does all this fit within the currently placed build limits? I have been so hesitant to really let my build muse free with the limit in place because I know I get really into big and fancy builds, but it'd be disheartening to hit the limit mid build.
The build limit does suck, but it is per building so you can have 2+ 300 part buildings side by side (foundations not auto connecting; saw someone place multiple foundations at different angles on top of each other and it counted as 2 buildings, 1 for ach orientation of foundations). The 350 limit to non-building parts might trip you up if you are doing multiple building though :(
I'm currently trying to get my portals to do what you've done with yours. However every time I travel back through (to my abeyance realm) it puts me at the large portal gate in my realm (rather than at the crude portal I went through to get to the realm). Does anyone have any tips on why this happens or how I can stop it?
Do you have an estate cairn placed? If so, you don't travel back through the portal to your realm, you got to the map and click return to respite realm. It will return you to wherever your cairn was placed.

oh I might steal this idea! I like the idea of having the crude separated out for the survivors to access!
Tip i noticed if u start from the top of the shelf,then put chest in downwards works like a charm for me. Also i put a chest on top also😊
For the baskets on the shelves, if you move em out and replace em from top to bottom, they will place normally
If you start placing the chests or baskets from top to bottom in the shelfes, you will be able to place them

Geesh and I maxed the limits just a regular building and all the augments etc…. This game needs at LEAST double the limits.

ohh I haven't experimented with rain water, but I've watered mine by hand with the watering can and some are just bugged unfortunately

I know I'm gonna have problems once I start rebuilding my base and placing the augments/furniture. I really hope they address that in the next patch
