I was just pointing out that they never knew before how much they would be in each other's lives. I'd say the point of this scene is to show how much Walt has changed and how much he is willing to do whatever has to be done. Not quite the same thing

You can not improvise a scene like that. If it was improvised the two actors would be dead. Actually rereading the comments I suspect that everyone is in on the joke. No body could believe that these scenes were improvised.

Now this is what Mike's fan base need to know to realize that why Walt went against Gus in the first place. They believe it was due to Walt's ego but in reality Walt sabotaged good working relationship with Gus just to protect Jesse.

Walt was doing good with Gale and had no intention of getting back with Jesse and even if Gus' henchmen had killed Jesse, it would have been a good thing for Walt. But Walt and Jesse had a brotherly bond due to which they took great risks at odd times to save each other.

When Mike said they had a good thing going but Walt ruined it with his ego has always bugged me. Walt had a huge ego yes but he ruined it all to save Jesse.
I don't like Walt, but I have to admit I don't see what else he could have done after this point. Gus pretty much gave orders to take Walt out and shoot him. When Walt foiled this, Gus continued to chip away at his position until Walt reached a point where it was him or Gus. The eternal question is whether or not Walt would have inevitably gone after Gus anyway out of sheer jealousy had Gus not pressed the matter first. Gus certainly seemed to think so, and there was a degree of first strike advantage tension where both sides knew that the one who moved first and hardest would likely come out the victor.
I always find it hard to see how it’s Walt’s fault. I guess maybe if he had let Jesse kill those two with the burgers maybe… other then that I don’t really see how this was his fault. He saved Jesse
so a few seasons later he ask someone to kill Jesse, sick people who instead of killing Jesse they put him in a cage for months and left him with mutliple mental problems

People act like their relationships are vastly different, but most people's affections often counter and are countered by their egotistical pursuits and feelings. Rarely have I encountered a storybook relationship with an honest power dynamic based on reciprocity. Humans are all fucked up....though usually with less death and destruction.
Why are people saying Walt didnt care for Jesse, the guy was basically his dad, but the messed up kind. Yeah he manipulates him a lot, because Jesse is really dumb and careless, like all people in his age are, including me. In the end of the series he couldve just let Jesse rot in his cell but he called for him and saved his life. He had nothing to gain for that.
The thing Nacho did at the end of his time in Better Call Saul… that had be off the bed and fist pumping like idiot. Couple moments like that in this BCS/BB universe and this is one

This is one of the moment of great focus and clarity in breaking bad. The moment you realize either it's going to be your brain or the others squashed on the pavement.
Before I say anything, I think this show is a masterpiece. I've watched it over and over again. All the details in this show are amazing. However, one question I have is.... How did NO ONE notice the car speeding at them 150 miles per hour in the dead silent night? I mean, you'd think someone woulda heard that shit, right? No one else is outside, no one else on the road, just them, then BOOM Edit: You have all well established your tunnel vision theory. Even tho my comment still stands, I think It's a valid point, and you can stop replying with that answer now lol
To be fair, he did have his headlights off and like the other guy said he was probably topped out at 40. Most vehicles don't make excessive noise at that speed and they did turn to look right as he was approaching at a reasonable time. I think it's all pretty well done and everything looks and seems realistic enough to be believable that it could happen in real life - besides the remarkably impeccable timing. Gotta be suspense somewhere.

First time I saw this scene I was watching on my phone laying in bed and immediately after the credits roll I shot straight up and couldn't believe what I just saw. Stayed up all night watching more lol I envy anyone who hasn't seen this show yet
