Correction: Hermod actually uses necromancy attacks, not melee. He's still super easy especially at level 95+ Necromancy and I have come to prefer soul split anyways over deflection prayers anyways. I'd be more concerned about Rasial in this quest.
been a fan of your work and long time subscriber . bro u make theee BEST quest guide. str8 to the point, never talking to much, i honestly dont see why others cant make short simple straight to the point guides like you . YOUR THE BEST GUIDEMAN!
A couple notes to add. - Invoke death lasts 6 seconds, so casting at the beginning of the fight serves little purpose. If you use the tank armor, you'll want to use this ability at the proper time, it has a maximum 30k lifepoints it can take effect at. (EDIT: I've been informed that the death mark caused by invoke death will last the entire fight) - If you wear the power armor, it will basically guarantee the instant kill effect that invoke death would do. Make sure to cast darkness and keep that up, 20% less damage is huge. (EDIT: They officially modified darkness to last for 12m, so you won't need to recast) - If you have the lesser / greater bone shield incantation active (it acts as a permanent passive once cast) you can use defensive abilities at the expense of necromancy runes. Which you should have anyways, regardless of the type of necro armor you're using. Hope this helps.
Yeah invoke death lasts the entire fight not 6 seconds. I have used it a lot on various different bosses immediately at the beginning of a fight and it does not go away.
The whole point in the bone shield abilities is that you dont have to put on a shield to use reflect! You could have been dealing full dual wield damage at the end there..
Look at the upload date on this video, 5 days after the release of necromancy and there were 8 more quests/guides I had to do beforehand. I did not have time to look into what every new ability does.
I am still learning the abilities myself but this is what I would do on my bar setup with revolution Revolution: Conjure Skeleton Touch of Death Living Death Finger of Death Death Grasp (special attack found in your constitution abilities) Blood Siphon - I manually activate this sometimes if I see a good opportunity to use it, explained in the video Soul Sap Volley of Souls Bloat Manually Use These: Reflect (defense ability) - I only use this in the beginning of phase 4, explained in the video Invoke Death - you only need to use this once per fight so you don’t even really need this on your bar, explained in the video Conjure Ghost + Optionally Zombie - personally not a fan of the amount of adrenaline these use It helps a lot if you can go in with a full adrenaline bar
@@SikovitRS oh ye fair enough. I started doing this when they became very cheap so it was probably cheaper than bones because I had to spend less on inks for rituals, also very fast cause I was getting so many souls
Nadir and Vengeance miniquest guide would be so nice. I can't find any of them on youtube. majority of them is over an hour long.. and so out of date. like 9 years ago. If Sikovit makes one would be so awesome
I don’t have an answer for that as I didn’t use it but this quest was released along the new combat skill (necromancy). I wouldn’t be surprised if this quest wasn’t designed to be beaten with legacy combat because it kind of defeats the point of the new skill and quests - they want you to learn it.
i understand your point! I'll let you know if I find a way with legacy! I've never used eoc on any previous quests as this is my last quest to finish. Sigh, tough encounter!@@SikovitRS
aint it crazy how many people love fraqsu's guides and how theyre real time guide then this guy just 5x speed the whole quests lol. thanks for reminding me why fraqsu is the best

Tip: if doing immediately after remains of necrolord you have to tele out of Um and back in for rasial to appear.
Thanks for the tip!

correction invoke deaths affect can only be applied 6 seconds after using the spell - it stays for the whole fight
Yeah invoke death lasts the entire fight not 6 seconds. I have used it a lot on various different bosses immediately at the beginning of a fight and it does not go away.
Really? That's interesting! Thanks for the info. I went for the power armor so I don't generally bother using invoke death@@Ithas_x
Thank you so much for the guides bro
You’re welcome! Glad they help
lol nice ending fight, thanks for the guide!

I'm maxed with elder overloads and T90 gear, and I found this to be a pretty challenging fight. I only had a few pieces of food left
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
You’re welcome!
Would you be able to help people who don't know what abilities to use on the ability bar and in what order, a video or anything
I am still learning the abilities myself but this is what I would do on my bar setup with revolution
Revolution:
Conjure Skeleton
Touch of Death
Living Death
Finger of Death
Death Grasp (special attack found in your constitution abilities)
Blood Siphon - I manually activate this sometimes if I see a good opportunity to use it, explained in the video
Soul Sap
Volley of Souls
Bloat
Manually Use These:
Reflect (defense ability) - I only use this in the beginning of phase 4, explained in the video
Invoke Death - you only need to use this once per fight so you don’t even really need this on your bar, explained in the video
Conjure Ghost + Optionally Zombie - personally not a fan of the amount of adrenaline these use
It helps a lot if you can go in with a full adrenaline bar
Small tip, at lv90 you can ovl to past 103 and use 3 Multiply 3, get 140souls per ritual
Damn that would have shaved off like an hour lol
u can get 215 if you use mementos and there only like 50k a piece so def worth it
@@TheRealNiko those were wild expensive when I did this 😂 I was getting the reinforced dragon bones for 50k even though the GE price says 100k
@@SikovitRS oh ye fair enough. I started doing this when they became very cheap so it was probably cheaper than bones because I had to spend less on inks for rituals, also very fast cause I was getting so many souls

love your videos bro but you didnt say when you started from reinforsed bones what lvl ???-30k souls took 5-6 hours other than that thanks :)
Yeah I did at 00:30 it was from 5000
Guess I missed it lol still great video :)
@@jonathanm9346 thank you!
Ty RuneScape for my car
what about for legacy combat? I don't use abilities or eoc

it's almost damn near impossible on legacy. Quests like these freaking suck for legacy combat players. So annoying
i understand your point! I'll let you know if I find a way with legacy! I've never used eoc on any previous quests as this is my last quest to finish. Sigh, tough encounter!@@SikovitRS
first try did not even watch how to kill him
30000 souls fml i told myself i would be done after 8.5k souls.
Lmao it’s really not that bad with the level 90 ritual
aint it crazy how many people love fraqsu's guides and how theyre real time guide then this guy just 5x speed the whole quests lol. thanks for reminding me why fraqsu is the best
