camlin,brustro,conte paris, general's have the best charcoal pencils

General's is No1,the BEST charcoal pencil. No other comes close. Derwent and Camlin are ok-ish but still not as good as General's! There is no reason, to go for any other brand., you just lose your money and time, if you don't choose the best. As for beginners, starting out with anything than the best, it's a wrong move, that can make you quit...So, General's is one way road,

@@greekveteran2715 I have worked with camlin, brustro pencils and they work fine for me. skills over materials anytime. For beginners, camlin is best.
