Something I only realized recently - that spot by the fountain where she runs out to cry is the same spot where we saw her with her father in the opening.
The part where the two stepsisters tore up Cinderella's dress was too much to bear. They were just jealous because the dress contained stuff that had once belonged to them, but they threw out anyway only because they didn't want it. Also, it looked better on Cinderella, too. Maybe Gus should've intervened just like he was going to, had Jack not stopped him.
What could he exactly? He’s a mouse and it would only escalate the situation
Gus could have snuck up and tear their dresses with his teeth and leave holes everywhere.
To be honest they were spoiled which wasn't their fault but their mothers fault for being a bad influence on them.

After growing up with different versions of this fairy tale, it never mattered how the stepsisters physically looked in the first place. I've always noticed how they both practically wear the same outfit with minor tweaked differences. When it came to the grand ball, the Prince had no interest in either of them because they they weren't being original. Arriving at the same time as the other maidens had lessened their chances of being chosen because the Prince had gotten sick and tired of meeting each of them.
I’ve always been a big fan of Cinderella and i honestly don’t understand the criticism she receives especially in regards to being a passive character. After Anastasia and Drizella make fun of her she not only sticks up for herself but makes the argument she is allowed to go and they couldn’t rebuff it.
Me, personally the part where the stepsisters mess up Cinderella's dress was really hard to watch.

5:38 Cinderella should have said that she is happy that her sisters are gonna be the Prince's bride and not say she will get dressed as well. They know she didn't go to the ball until they didn't know she is the mystery girl.

Sometime I wonder what they layout of Chateau look like. Especially the entryway, it connects to the kitchen which I assume is in the lower floors and then opposite that an joining room that leads to the back pasture? Then there the second floor, with 3 bedrooms and a music room but there is that large window looking put from? Then silo where Cinderella’s room is. Then era is confusing 1800s or 1700s.

Because she said that she wasn’t going to the ball then she comes down in a dress that’s been made up and they are probably wondering when she had the time to make it because she was busy with cores all day. Also they don’t want her to go the ball they want the prince to choose one of them.

Cinderella is what?
I think the stepsisters are more just manipulated. Children can pick up on their parents’ behavior and I think Anastasia is the most manipulated one. Drizella showed no hope of redemption or at least realizing that she’s acting like her mother

When I saw the movie a cinderella story Fiona reminds of Lady Tremaine & Brianna & Gabriella reminds me of drizella & Anastasia cuz Fiona definitely acted just like Lady Tremaine the wicked stepmother & Brianna & Gabriella really acted like drizella & Anastasia the evil stepsisters & they did treat sam like cinderella & i was really happy that sam finally stood up to her wicked stepmother & sam told Fiona that she was done by abused her stepmother & Rhonda flat out told Fiona the truth the reason why she put with all of Fionas crap over the years was only cause of sam & I think Rhonda really was gonna kick Fionas ass & when sam told Rhonda to not worry about Fiona cuz she wasn't worth it anyway I definitely agree with sam
