- Today I bring you a different video, a Scenic Drive along the La Corniche route, a beautiful road which borders the cliffs and connects the town of Saint Jean de Luz (Donibane Lohizune) with Ciboure / Ziburu until reaching Hendaye (Hendaia).
The views are beautiful, and driving through it is like feeling like the protagonist of an advertisement. In fact, several films have been filmed there.
It has a couple of viewpoints at the foot of the road. As well as small coves brushing the flysch where you can go down at low tide.
I'm "The Walking Girl", a girl from Donostia / San Sebastian (Euskadi (Basque Country) in the north of Spain) walking through my city and other surrounding towns to show them to you. I don't put added music in my videos, I prefer that you can listen the sounds and the atmosphere of the city, that you experience the walking tours in first person, as if you were here!
And I like to put subtitles throughout the tour, with tourist information, curiosities, tips ... and my personal comments :-)
Now that we cannot travel, I offer you to enjoy the Basque Country from the comfort of your own home. And if there is any place in my country that you want to see, you just have to leave me a message and I will go to record a walking video!

I was driving through the Basque Country of Spain and France just last week and some signs pointing to La Corniche caught my eye because we live in an apartment in a place in Southern Spain named "La Corniche" and I was interested to find out if it was named after this place or after the the one in Marseille. I will make it a point the next time round to do this route. Thank you for this video.
