Maximus calling another group a cult is pretty funny. The Brotherhood is very much a cult.
One of my favorite moments in the show happens on this episode. When lucy pulls the NCR flag and the fallout theme plays. Chills.
Although it is odd that the Fallout 4 theme plays and not the New Vegas theme, considering the NCR weren't in Fallout 4.
@@erwinzyx the leitmotif is the same for all the games.
"You want to make my cock explode now" might be my favorite line in any show in YEARS. But the Fallout theme playing was just, I got chills. As someone who's played the games since Fallout 1 this whole show is amazing but hearing that theme is just unreal.
@@LordLOC It's things like that which kept me from liking the show too much. It's at the same time childish and repulsive. Don't get me wrong, there were ideas in this I liked, but most of them were done in ways I just can't like. Then again, for some of the same reasons, I'm not really into the Fallout games, so I guess that fits.
@@BattleAngelFan99 Ah, well see that makes sense. The games also have this morbid sense of humor and can be very over the top on the gore and humor etc. and I guess childish in that regard sometimes. I mean we are talking about a game series with vaults that have, horrible, fucked up things going on in them, and that's not even talking about the stuff on the surface and then absolutely weird stuff like the "Gary" vault and stuff like that.
I can't wait until next episode of "Unsupervised Snacking." Will there be crumbs? Will all the pretzels be gone? Did responsibility win the day? Tune in next time!

Cooper's wife is good at gaslighting, the red flags really come out in this episode. She knows a lot more than people think, a couple times, when she gets angry, she lets out info that she shouldn't. Cooper caught on to that when she mentioned a special vault that is for management. Very rarely are there any "good" vaults. As a Fallout gamer, know all about the vaults and Vault-tec

That’s the first time I’ve noticed the catfish whiskers on that woman, I’ve always been distracted by the glowing blue eyes! I must have seen that scene a dozen times or more by now and never saw it.

Honestly, I don't care what anyone else says or whines about it, but your daughters' interruptions are some of the best moments in your reaction videos.
I always love seeing them flex those nascent Logic muscles trying to outwit and outreason you guys.
Also as a bonus today was watching the younger one quietly by the side silently learning and watching big sister at work and taking notes herself.

The best thing about this channel definitely are the technical difficulties. So…. I CAN have pretzels? At that point you know your kids own you. So funny.
If I'm thinking correctly the scene where The Ghoul kills the two deputies is the third time in the series we have seen him use VATS. Look how it's filmed and how accurate and fast he is. Plus he just keeps shooting them post mortem like a true Fallout player
i always associated VATS with the Pip-Boy and figured the ghoul couldn't be using VATS, despite how it looks, because he doesn't have said Pip-Boy. Researching it a bit though it looks like there is no direct tie between VATS and Pip-Boy in the games, despite the name of the mechanic (vault-tec assisted targeting system). In FO4 you can use VATS prior to finding your Pip-Boy. So yeah. Would be interesting if the series could canonize how VATS works since it's kind of glossed over in all the games (it just works haha).
@81OH4Z4RD the scene where he uses his energy weapon (I think?) in Filly was the first time I thought on this. In my thinking since he worked for Vault tec there's some room for it to be maybe an implant or some type of enhancement. His ire for Vault tec is my only hang up, but he could have very well taken their tech after the bombs fell to turn it against them

As for myself, I’d also see it as a challenge to still get the pretzels AND make absolutely sure not to leave behind any evidence. As a streamer, I *felt* that visceral parental reaction when the girls came in asking for snacks. Its a tough thing, trying to balance your needs with theirs. (And I know the battle against crumbs in the bedrooms *very* well. Especially the getting "rules lawyered" by your own offspring part. 😂)

I also felt like it was a missed opportunity to have Lucy get caught cause she made a tiny noise instead of having the guy with two noses literally sniff her out.
The "reds" are China and the Soviet Union (it did not cease to exist in 1991 as in our world).
I dont know why they dont make this clear in the series (we all know why but its weird since the games mention China as the enemy all the time yet they were not censored in the country).

Now that you know about the Axolotl or Gulpers it puts the “Caviar” in a whole new light.. what strange is that people have said it’s not as dark but on re-watches there are so many little details that they don’t explain to you like the caviar. The 'reds' they talk about before the great war was actually Russia... the New California Republic is a post war government, also the music they played when she opened the NCR flag is FROM the games... Fallout 4 if im not mistaken

Its China and the URSS (which still exists in 2077). However, the war they keep mentioning was against China. If I remember correctly the URSS was neutral and the European Union was on a civil war.

I like how the animation at the end gives hints towards what might be in the next episode.

The way Maximus (well the actor, I can't remember his name right now sorry) delivers the line "you want to make my cock explode now" is SO good. He's so naive, just like Lucy. It's amazingly well written, and all the reveals in this episode are incredibly well done.

to sya he knows a bit about power armor becasue he's been in one before , is an understatment. he knows more about power armor than the brotherhood of steel does. the difrencve being the brother hood is using power armor centuries after it was made , and like the joke he made to maximus , they don't really have manuels. whiole the US army (who build the dman suits) did . also they trained the Soldiers in the US army to use the power armor fully, there's just info about operating them that a rag tag organization 200 years later would not know.

Caviar is good, but my palate is not sophisticated enough to tell the difference between it and the roe that comes in/on sushi rolls. I pretty much like 'em all. The only kind I don't like is salmon roe; it tastes like drowning.
