@@coinstudiosmoviescartoonsa1978 late reply but I recently was looking in the pre-alpha files and the whole prototype house is in there! nothing is truly lost
Interesting fact: The Basement was supposed to be in the game but the devs didnt knew how to code it so they left it there but if u go to early alpha 2 the basement works just fine without any commands
Here’s my (kinda) theory “Can you see it?” Is referring to if the player can be seen. “I had to hide it” Is referring to the player being hidden by invisibility. “They might find out” Is referring to the devs finding out and removing the secret So in reality this entire time the neighbor was trying to give us a cheat and the devs found out so they removed it
the biggest questions I have is what is this about "Can you see it?" I think original story for the alpha was that neighbor used to work at a carnival and had a family a wife who was a teacher due to the room in alpha 1 and a son until one of them died likely the wife due to grave in floor 1 looking like it has teacher mannequin and the son likely die and neighbor was fired from his job and goes insane and made a deal with the devil and along with his partner in crime(the guy in painting in pre alpha next to the neighbor) and the beta story’s is that the player was the neighbor son

or it's something to do with the neighbour's backstory, like his son asking for help or the neighbor
