I just killed the past for the four main, so I was trying to do the robot. I beat the dragun but the lich pulled me in without me jumping in because I actually haven’t been to hell yet. I had one shield so I died. ;-;

Well, if you go off the original premise, the point is to correct something from your past. This doesn't make sense for Bullet, who doesn't even get an option, but in the case of the Robot, it's possible he broke protocol and let "The Last Human" live, thus traveling to the past is to correct that error. Though it could just as easily be the last known human or something else. That is, unless you want to overlook the much simpler explanation that they just wanted to do a Terminator reference and had to send the Robot to the past due to how things were implemented.
My theory is that all humans did die, but for the game's everything becomes normal. Think about it. All of the main characters still appear in the Breach, inside the the Gungeon even after their pasts have been killed. Why would they be there on that timeline? They have no reason to risk their lives inside the Gungeon. They are there just because videogame.
After checking the wiki I have discovered that there are actually 4 futurama references in this one section of the game. There is a robotology symbol on the wall, the emperor is a reference to hedonism bot, and there is a device for jacking on next to the emperor.
Plus the red background at the beginning with those numbers. We see that in almost every terminator movie when we look from the perspective of T-800/T-850.

I got to the 5th floor, took the gun that kills the past, and Guess what. Even if i haven't killed the robot past, the Game just decided to put the credits
Apparently if you beat all the 4 main characters past first you won't even he able to fight this boss with the robot, looks relatively easy tho like all of the other past so I wasn't missing much, great video EDIT: I was wrong, you just can't avoid being sent to bullet hell after beating the 4 main characters past the first time you make it back to the void, you can avoid bullet hell afterwards tho
@@Daltoniss you're right. If you beat the 4 main characters pasts you CANNOT avoid going into bullet hell on the run right after defeating all 4 of the main characters past with any character. So I did an 1h20m run on the robot to beat his past and I got snatched up by a hand and sent to bullet hell lol, but you're able to do their past after that run.
@@Quince477 I mean can't you just run around the void where the Lich grabs you? That's what I did with the Robot and I was able to go to his past. At that point I had alredy done all the pasts of the main 4 a while ago. I think you just have to run around the Lich void. Unless you mean the run IMMEDIATELY after achieving all four pasts cuz' that Lich grab might be hard-coded. Afterwards you should be able to avoid it.

"Enter the Gungeon" if you look up the OST, it's the last song in the album, the first song "Enter the gun" Doesn't have the sweet rap lyrics, so don't waste your time on that.

@@tokyohanamura The tv only shows up in the second chamber entrance shaft so you can't get forge shortcut and just find blacksmith

Do a rainbow run after unlocking the last elavator. Then keep restarting until you get the vulcan which you can use to take out the dragun.
