Joseph Tsai seems like he is just happy to run his team as a charity for girls sports, the guy isn't shy about it. The rest are figurehead owners with investors that picked them as safe figure heads that wont rock the boat.
Herb specifically is like 89 years old and although he is sharp for his age I honestly doubt he spends more than 0.5% of his waking life thinking about the fact he owns the team never mind what's happening to his players. Can't imagine its worth his time to rattle cages over the profit decline of a team he bought to get invited to made up award parties.

It’s unfortunate that interest in the WNBA is SO connected to CC. But it’s not something that we can blame her for. It’s not her fault. I believe a lot of viewers who started watching the WNBA because of CC were surprised by how brutal the play in this league is, and how hideously poor the officiating can be. These issues long precede CC’s arrival, however. I believe a lot of the new viewers were not impressed by ghetto thugball, and were hoping to see more of the great playmaking, court generalship, and shooting that CC brings to the game at a very high level.
Wouldn't surprise me at all if next year's WNBA attendance and TV ratings go down even more except for the games CC plays in. People are fed-up with all the drama and CC-hate from the other players, and the atrocious officiating.
