Hey guys, I'm new to Metal detecting and have a Sunpow I got off of Amazon and have found a few things so far, What do you recommend for heavy iron hits all over our yard???
Thanks Kurt and Muck for keeping us all entertained while we are stuck at home. Saskatchewan is slowly relaxing our restrictions on going out hopefully soon I'll be able to get out and beep some holes
Another excellent video, Kurt!! Nice variety of history from several centuries! Can’t wait to see Bob, Brad, Bill and (possibly) Leo in future videos! Stay Safe and Healthy!
Wow! Some really old coins, but I think the pin with the Dog's was the coolest. It's such a unique find and Silver to boot. These video's are so much fun to watch.
Another riveting episode. What a great hunt, so many wonderful finds. Glad that you’re still able to get out and hunt in these hard times and share it with those that for one reason or other can’t get out. Keep up the good work. Am I the only one who wants to see the phantom diggers face? He sounds a lot like Bob. Thanks once again, Kurt
I got a metal detector recently and while using it i found the original brass light switch plating for the house. Its from 1920 and i restored it to its original color
Just love it when you hit a knoll like that and history keeps getting older and older..... do some research and give us the back history on that place.... Would love to know. Thanx Kurt and Mark.... Gather up all the HOOVER BOYS and have a mental health day..... see ya on the next
Another great one Kurt! Keep them coming. I know in the past you’ve showed the way you run your machine pls keep showing tips on the AT Max. I just started Metal detecting any and all help is welcomed. Reading the manual is not the same as having someone actually show you how to do it. Thanks again for a great video and your service as a first responder 😬👍🏻
Hi I'm from Scotland in the UK i've been watching you for some time well from the time Bob joined you and the boys they all don't seem to join you as often good job you have Mark anyway i love watching you all digging love all your finds look after yourselves.x
Thanks for taking us along. Tell Muck congratulations on the Spanish copper. I also found a 1773 Spanish 4 Maravedies here in NW Ohio in a field where a Old Town used to exist. Stay safe!!!
Another great video loved it. The dog pin is awesome but those are Airedales , a real popular hunting dog in the mid 1800s until the early 1900s. Legs are about three times to long for a Scottie. Stay safe and good luck.
Very interesting stuff. I think there has to be more stuff there. With all those bridal rosettes, somebody had to have coins fall out of their pockets while riding. Thanks for the great video!
CONGRATULATIONS on a Great Mixture of Finds!! I really enjoyed the (2) SPANISH Coins, and especially the Copper MARAVIDIS!! MARAVIDIS are extremely Rare in this country!! Also, I enjoyed seeing the Old KEG TAP!! I personally found one on an Old Colonial Farm about 15yrs. ago!! I don't see too many of them being found either!! I really like the 44 Clips you guys always do , when you find a 44 Coin!! NamVetLesTreasureSeeker.
Thank you again for all the videos. Fortunately in Switzerland we have not had to stop metal detecting during the virus. But I had to wait for my licence which I now have. New videos coming soon. Stay safe and again thank you.
found a 1944D wheaty in my drawer at work tonight. FORTY FOUR CLUB THATS ME!!!!!! WHOO. Last week I found a buffalo nickle and i had the equivallent of a coin spill in my roll of change at work. I was counting my drawer getting ready to jump out and help check out the customers. I kept having this roll that kept weighing funny. So I check the end of it and its a wheaty. I opened the roll and by the end of the night I had 23 wheat pennys. Not super exciting but a few of them were older dates so that was fun. Good to see you guys are still on the hunt. Stay safe out there and I'll catch up with you later.
Hi Kurt! The item Mark found that you think is a roset, I believe it is a frock pin by the look of the back. There are two spots on the back where the pin would have been. Back in the colonial times right up to the beginning of the 20th century, both men and women wore what was an over-sized frock or shawl (worn like a coat), and used a pin the size of a half dollar to keep the shawl closed.
Another great video- Congratulations Kurt on the great Half Real and coppers and buttons, always enjoy watching you guys dig. All the best from Canada- Paul the Nickel Guy.
Well done buddy just love finding them coins iam from the uk Metaldetecting have a channel and just love finding silvers rings what's you oldest find buddy
diggers den tyson fury probably a wheat penny I’ve had a detector for 3 years it’s a good one but not the top notch high priced one but it gets the job done
Hey Kurt, another excellent video! I really wish I was farther East so I could find some of those old Colonial, Irish and Spanish copper/silvers! My friend Randy did pop an 1806 half real last Thanksgiving. Thanks again! Scotty
Your videos always inspire me to go out and start detecting aha... I love all of your videos thank you for helping me maintain my constant love for this amazing hobby
hey curt I'm new at medal detecting I love ur you tube I miss bob Billy and brad great guys I have a bounty hunter from Walmart I found a Morgan dollar 1878 s
Congrats on the last three weeks worth of quality finds! Muck is coming up with plenty of permissions and I hope that his contributions help fill your video deficit so we can binge watch us some THB. I wonder if the owner is open to helping various black historical organizations fill in some of the many gaps. Might be a few untold stories worth exploring!
Love the Videos Kurt, we don't get to find the really old coins in Australia unfortunately. 1800's British is as good as it gets here. Try getting the rest of the crew out with you, i know it doesn't get any easier as we get older.
That was some good digging. Really like those 300 year old coins, didn't realize they were even in existence or used. Guess I thought they just traded and bartered. Question: what would they need to cut and give change for a half cent? That is strange to me. Happy digs and eat your lunch

Waiting with bated breath for your weekly video is like waiting for Christmas as a child. The agony!!! I'll NEVER grow up.
The 44 ladies that’s me part always makes me laugh. Cool coins Kurt!
I'm at a loss, what does it mean? I think I missed something along the way.

Great video
Your dog pin appears to be Irish Wolfhounds. Woulfhounds were a popular breed for pins and brooches during the "flapper"era of the 1920's.
