Andrea, the original song "Ikanaide" by Koji Tamaki is an amazing piece of music itself. Maybe, you would want to listen to it too.
The translatimg of the song and name are not very good. But the song is beautiful. And it can be even better if you watch it on the channel of Gloria Wu where it has a background story.

The original song by Japanese singer/songwriter Koji Tamaki is called Ikanaide ( Please, don't leave). It lacks the elaborate imagery and autumn vibe.
First time Dimash sang in Chinese in front of a Chinese audience. A chinese reactor was halfway through, when he realised Di is not a native speaker. That's how good it was.
Dimash is the number 2 of "I am a singer 2017" but this song did win best foreigner sings mandarin song of that year in China.

"I am a singer" has his own orchestra, background singers and light/sound show. And they are of worldclass.
Yes, the production of that show is best I`ve ever seen. Fantastic orchestra and backing vocalists. I especially love the way the director is all about the artist and only shortly cuts to the members of the audience or fellow competitors when it doesn`t take anything away from the performance. Just fantastic job.
I was beginning to think that I was the only one who paid attention to the orchestra and the background singers. They are world-class in all of the songs. I especially liked the orchestration for Adagio. Amazing.

One of my favourite Dimash song.The most impressive is that Dimash does not speak Mandarin and He learned this song phonetically in one week and native speakers say his pronunciation is very good. Dimash say the mandarin is a very difficult language to learn! Again, it is always a good idea to read the lyrics before reacting. The song is based on real life quite sad story...
Something about the translated lyrics struck me as wrong, so I did some research, and I think this translation is closer to the spirit of the original song. In particular, I think the closing line is much more powerful: "No one will know of our desolation."
