Just tried this and it's a nightmare. I'm calling bullshit on the "you can fix them easily" claim. My advice: Don't waste your time fiddling with the damned thing, take it back to the retailer and demand a replacement or refund. Why should the consumer have to spend time and effort repairing a defective product?
I'm glad you did this video, but your camera placement made it difficult to see some of your actions.
Right? And to such an extent that the video is practically worthless.
😊 thomas really very nice and thanks 👍
Thank you!!! 😊
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Helps me alot! Thanks
These tapes are a rip off. I don't think I ever went through a whole roll with successful printing. Just getting a different label maker. This shouldn't constantly happen.
Just bought this machine and had this issue on the sample tape. Why does this happen so frequently?
So you will buy many new cartridges, of course. The money for Brother is not in the machine, but in getting you on replacement cartridges.
Yeah, if only they came apart that easily
Um, If it's worse, it can be taken apart.
That's intentional on the part of the manufacturer.
How can i fit TZ tape in TZe tape to my newly purchase Brother labeller
Thank u, save me
Did you ever think to shut the music off and SPEAK !
I have a PT-15 which uses the TC tape. Do you think I could remove the tape from a TZe cartridge and wind it in my existing TC cartridge? It's the same width
What I know they are all laminated tape, maybe the same thermal printing. You can try to take them apart. Analyze whether their structures are similar or not. You also can directly keep the labels and rewind on yout TC cartridge. Just have a try?
@@tomasjohnson1578Thanks, I ordered one, will let you know
@@martik778 Wish you success!
they are a great item if you enjoy working on them constantly, loads of fun
I can’t open the cartridge. How?///
Simply do as this ass**** does and lightly squeeze the cartridge. It's that easy!
Why does it need to happen in the first place. Absolute trash system
Your hands are in the way. Geez
I agree completely. The originator of this video doesn't show the most important thing: taking the cartridge apart without breaking it or unraveling all the spools of material. The video shows this idiot just lightly squeezing the cartridge and it starts to separate. The video then jumps forward to the cartridge disassembled and laying neatly on the table. I guess Brother didn't pay this ass***** to actually show you how to repair their product.
