The Su 122-44 Revisited in World of Tanks in 2023

- Today we are going to be trying out the SU 122-44. This is my most-played tank destroyer in World of Tanks, and for good reason. It used to be a mobile and hard-hitting tank that could relentlessly fire 390 alpha rounds at you every 7 seconds. With its insane DPM and great camo, it could pick off lower-tier tanks in just a few seconds and really eat away at the HP of higher-tier vehicles. This was in 2013, the question is now if it is still able to do that in 2023. Spoiler alert, it still kicks like a horse.
The power creep has made 175 standard pen pretty obsolete. In tier 9 games I had 10 HE rounds to perma track heavies for my team. Mostly in tier 7 games you are just a bully, but some tanks have the pen to deal with you so you have to watch out for that.
That is a great Idea. Just take a few HE rounds to perma track vehicles, why not, you have the rate of fire for it xD. I still really like this tank.
The su 122 54 in wot console is amazing now it has armor and dpm its crazy
Good old days, Back when I really want to get this tank just because of the firepower but nowadays, was gone unless you're a top tier.
Yeah, it was the same for me. I really adored this vehicle and still do, if you are top tier. As soon as you are in a tier 8 match, you lose a lot of bite.
I don't think that tank is worse. WG just added new OP money grabs that are harder for the tank to deal with.
Yes, I think it hasn't changed at all, but everything around it has. A great tank at tier 7, but it becomes quite a bit harder to play at tier 8.

Hahahaha, nice timing! Its funny that some other WoT UA-camrs follow one another xD. I checked your Videos and I had to watch the ELC HE only one xD, great stuff! You have my sub! What is your verdict on the Object 263? Still a viable tank in 2023? I don't see as many anymore, but people still scratch their heads because of the armor xD.
@@TheFrXion i love that tank. And i usually dont play high tier. But the object is just so much fun to play. I can still be played aggressively if u know what u r doing
I have just been getting back into Top tier and I have to say Matchmaking was rough in the first few games, but after a while I got back into the groove. There are certain tanks where you just now instinctively what to do, and its always nice to return to them. What you have with the Object 263, I have with the T110e5, I love that tank to bits.

i remember being accused of cheating all the time haha.
It lost some of its protection it had back in 2013 because of the HD change. I always liked the tank though and have always played it, every once in a while.
Just doesn't have it anymore.
I would say that it performs substandard in tier 8-9 match if you arent hyper-cautious.
