- I found this crazy fast song on Osu, and couldn't stop listening to it, so here is Speed of Link by antiPLUR.
DISCLAIMER: I DID NOT OCTABITIFY THIS SONG, THIS IS THE ORIGINAL SONG (I don't want to steal the credit from the artist).
Don't really know what this genre is, so I invented a new one! (If someone knows the actual genre, go ahead and leave a comment!
It still feel weird to upload these filler songs :P

To the people arguing about BPM:
You cannot talk about BPM independent of meter. Take "dubstep" for instance since that's a popular one. In the software the BPM is set to 140 typically, however the rhythmic structure dictates kick on one snare on three. This gives the "feel" of a syncopated 70 BPM.
I'm currently listening to Meshugga - Bleed. Check it out. The hats are in 23/16, but the kick and snare are in 4/4. Is it 60 BPM? 120? 240?
BPM is not the only factor in how "fast" something feels. A beat is a subjective quantization.
True, it just depends on what kind of 'division of the beats' you're using (Don't know the english word for it xd) , but judging by the consistent background note loops throughout I would say that this would make sense to be 260-280bpm
The English word would be "time signature" and you are correct. There seems to be this idea that a"beat" is objective and that BPM is an objective quantization of speed and this isn't the case at all.
sup dualzz
at around 1:26 the bpm is around 260-280 but the rest of the parts are slower
Thanks, now people know
1:23 best part T_T
AdafeR hell yeah
I think the build up was the best part.

Technically speedcore refers to any electronic music >~300bpm, but you’re still correct about the overlying genre
I have seen a custom map of this on Beat Saber.
Never before have I seen something so demanding on the human body.
My fucking fingers men.
ExGon is god
1:23 obviously the best part
Congratulations Bubbleman, you exceeded the "Speed of Light" difficulty

great song
Speedcore must be at least 300 BPM, this is 260-280.
wrong, The BPM in speedcore ranges normally from 270 to 500 BPM. Also slow BPM can also feel fast it's also rhythmic structure that is important. A great example is "Tool-Assisted Speedcore" from kobaryo which lies at 196 bpm most of the time.
And yes I know the comment is 2 years old but I wanted to write a comment
@@mebestupid7134 Pretty much everywhere I've seen places Speedcore at 300-600, but electronic genres are a complete mess, and at this point it's hard to keep track what falls under what genre.
@@rez-theruneman agree, it's up to the artist under what genre it falls now ig
heavy
Any other geometry dash players know this needs to be an extreme demon song
Its >200bpm it would be bad
@@LeafyGrovyle no, you just gotta make the right gameplay, I actually made a layout for this and its pretty epic imo

Quick question: I believe there is a slower version of Speed of Link that is pitched down, do you know if this is canon?
there is one

This is abnormaly fast speeded up DNB mixed with 16 bit Chiptune sounds. There is your answer.
¡Es muy buena ésta rola!
anyone have this song instrumental?
:D
Not really speedcore, but still very nice.
Not even close to sounding like Speedcore. This is abnormaly fast DNB mixed with Chiptune.
Mr Marten yeah it’s _close_ to speedcore, but doesn’t meet the 300 bpm requirement
@@_fluffyy1028 No the bpm is fine. Melodic Speedcore starts at around 250 bpm. The problem with this track is. That it doesn't have an Speedcore rhythm.
@@lars38010 wait what i thought that speedcore was only 300bpm
@@ItzSebas- Nah that is like the minimum bpm for Speedcore.
This is an awesome song in Osu but please dont call that speedcore xD
I agree, most speed core is often faster than this and has more brutal beats
this song is just "fast" in general but it doesnt give that same "heavy" feel
@@randomdog6542 heavy? I dont get that
@@randomdog6542 if it is fast and thick it will be a loudness catastrophe

Here is a example of a real Speedcore track. Diabarha - Escapee
ASDRION TM this song 285bpm, 1/4. The song you mentioned 328bpm 1/1 or maybe I missed out 1/2 at most. Effectively this song is 1140 bpm 1/1 while the song you mentioned is 656... soooooo
@@jowsonjgong8303 The bpm is not the problem (because Melodic Speedcore starts from around 250 bpm)
But a lot of this track has an Drum And Bass rhythm.
There is no Speedcore rhythm. And the other problem is.
That this so called Speedcore track. Has no Hardcore/Gabber kicks (the main genre where Speedcore belongs to)
Also how is this track effectively 1140 bpm?
I thought that it reached an maximum of 285 bpm?
And how is my Speedcore example 656 bpm? When the description says 328 bpm?
당신은 비웬이 아닙니다
not even FC
I came from VAINZ go check out his channel hes my dad
You clearly dont know what speedcore is. Let me abreviate, Speedcore Has to be a minimum of 300 bpm to qualify as speedcore and has a very agressive kick see ua-cam.com/video/BbAed6kHKWA/v-deo.html for an example.
