I think this game may be the new winner, kind of like how PowerWash Simulator was. I can really see Drae getting into expanding his repertoire in the game and adopting all kinds of adorable pets.
@@ubersosiska I help out often at a Korean dog rescue with donations and have rescued one myself as shown in the video, growing up I dog walked at a local shelter for years and I rescue fish in the aquarium hobby often. One thing I take pride in is a true love for animals and rescuing them when I can. And if you view these videos as "nothing useful" why exactly are you here? My E-mails from hundreds of parents/people thanking me in helping them get through tough situations says otherwise. And here you sit just being a negative fuckhead on the internet, grow up dude.
I actually work at an animal shelter and from what I've seen in your video, it seems pretty accurate (your office looks like a copy paste of my boss's office) to what I normally do aside from a few details. I noticed that you let the dogs straight into the play yard to socialize them and we don't do that. Usually we'll have two people holding them on leashes and slowly introduce them in case they try to fight. Also, at the shelter where I work, the play yard is separate from the kennel area so that when you take a dog out, it's in a calm environment where the other dogs aren't around to affect that particular dog's behavior and you don't run the risk of fence fighting. Also, for visitations we call it home inspections and there's a lot more to it than finding compatibility with potential owners (that's done by having the person come and visit the animal directly), we do it to determine is the animal going to stay inside or outside, when it's outside, will it have access to water and shelter, is the yard secure so the dog can't get out of the yard, is it a safe environment etc. We'll even do background checks on potential owners to make sure that the owner doesn't have a history of violence or other issues. When you cleaned that last dog, you reminded me of a story from a couple years ago. We got a dog in that was in horrible condition (the fur was filthy and matted, the dog was covered in ticks, the claws were messed up and he had horrible teeth), the funny part was when we were cleaning the dog and me and my boss wound up spending almost half an hour scrubbing a spot on the dog before we realized that we were scrubbing a spot that we all thought was dirt. Another thing, at the shelter where I work, about a large portion of our supplies like food, toys, bedding and medicine comes from donations, which really helps free up our budget when we have a dog that requires some really expensive, specialized vet care. For example, right now, we're caring for a dog in stage 4 kidney failure who needs regular check ups and special medicine and special food (he's actually doing better than even the vet expected). I cpuld go on forever about my experiences and I've got loads of stories from over the years (even a couple where I had to work alongside the fire department to help retrieve animals from house fires. All in all, great video, I'll have to check out this game and give it a try.
*YAY!!!* Though never easy, we say in the Fostering world, "Goodbye is the goal." (i rescue and foster kittens, bottle feeding neonates and socializing older feral ones to ready them for Forever Homes) i would love to see this with a complete intake procedure from vet exam with vaccinations on to baths and behavior tests. And when you can expand for it, i hope they let you put in an agility course-how fun would that be?!! i'm truly loving this and loving your interactions with the puppos Mr. Drae sir! Your guy is GORGEOUS and i'm so glad you decided to #AdoptDontShop #FosteringSavesLives
Fostering is so bittersweet. I work mostly with the big pups. My heart always hurts when they go, and I wonder if I should have kept them. But then I get so happy seeing picture updates of them in their new homes.
@@beachie i know, right??!! i heard a great quote from another who fosters and i now apply it each time it's time to say goodbye and it helps. Maybe it will help you too. She said, "my heart breaks a little each time so that their's never has to break again." Thank you for the work you do with your doggos! Each one you say goodbye to opens up room for you to take in another in need and it's much harder to find fosters for the bigger dogs. You're doing great work!
@@beachie At the shelter where I work, we have an inside joke where we call fosters who end up adopting the animals they we fostering 'foster failures'. @@TopDesert_ace That would be me honestly, as much as I'd love to work someplace like that, I'm pretty sure I'd end up adopting most of the animals lol
We aren't used to wholesome and things that feel good. It's good to know there's still people who feel out there. Drae, I get it. FYI : My little dog is a pug/rat terrier mix. Rescued from the shelter ,he was sick and he has 3 paws . 4 legs/3paws. No one knows how it happened but it doesnt slow him down. Only few times when it gets sore. Went through whole bunch names and he answered to Buddy. Best lil dog i've had.
i hope you do more episodes of this game! my cat just passed quite recently and ive been super depressed but watching this video with the absolute wholesomeness of it all really made my day 100% better. shelter dogs and cats are the best. im really glad theyre getting the attention they deserve.. especially lil buck and his mischievousness ❤️❤️❤️
I read the title as “Rescuing and abusing animals” and I got really excited because I thought it was a Lets Game It Out video where he loves to abuse everyone XD
Now that I've seen you on twitch hearing your voice gives me a whole new sense of awe. Its like you but different I don't know how to explain it wow omg I feel like a fan girl.

that could be true if he helped real animals, not just pixels in the game. literally he`s doing nothing useful.
