Zodiac Escutcheon in Sochen Cave Palace | Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age Tips and Tricks

- The Zodiac Escutcheon can be found in Sochen Cave Palace, Hall of the Wroth God. The player must finish Hunt #21 first to obtain the key item Dragon Scale. Once acquired, head to Cerobi Steppe - Northsward and look for Windmill #10. A cutscene will prompt and the man will offer to trade something in exchange of the Dragon Scale -- the Age Worn Key. This will be needed to access the door leading to Hall of the Wroth God.
The treasure chest has only 1% chance of spawning, but it is guaranteed to be the Zodiac Escutcheon when it does.

You can get the escutcheon without killing Hell Wyrm by fleeing your way through the room. Not very glorious but hey... With my bad luck, it cost me about 130 rounds, but I still got it. 😅
You definitely could! I just don't want to deal with healing / reviving / reapplying buffs just so I can get past through Hell Wyrm lol.

Literally spent hours but still havent got it yet. Idk why
Does this still work? I've spent over 5 hours zoning in and out of the Hell Wyrm lair to no avail
Late reply but it should still work since there hasn't been any patch that were pushed out -- so no changes happened within the game. Try restarting your console/shuffling your party member's positioning/equipping different stuff to push the game to randomize the seeds. It may had been stuck on a specific sequence.
