  • Amanda Bennett, AHDB Senior Environment Scientist, introduces the soil health scorecard, which was developed as part of the AHDB-BBRO Soil Biology and Soil Health Partnership. The scorecard can aid with routine monitoring of soil health across a farm’s rotation. It allows farmers to consider the biological, chemical and physical properties of soil. Elizabeth Stockdale, NIAB Head of Farming Systems Research, provides tips on how to take representative soil samples for assessment in an arable field (after harvest). The video also covers the interpretation of the results from an analysis of soil health indicators.
