I’m the biggest Serena fan ever, but Serena leaned into the “24” talk unlike Graf. Graf knew she was the Open slam record holder and she knew her body wouldn’t hold up so she retired. Serena on the other hand used 24 as a benchmark to keep her motivated and to give her something to fight for.
