It unspokenly conveys the back forth struggle between two lovers, the anger, the frustration, the pleading, the love, resignation, it's absolutely fucking beautiful and some of the best interrupted dance I've ever seen in my entire life! She is so underrated!!
P!NK is one of those artists you have to discover yourself. I first stumbled upon Family Portrait by accident a decade ago, and now i happened to see the Try clip on TV. Both times, the songs HIT me! (difficult times in my life - relationship with my parents, and 10 years later, the hardest breakup) If i tell someone: "Watch P!NK, she is amazing", they're like ..."umm, yea, she is". But they don't FEEL it. They're not connected. That's why i say, that we all discovered P!NK in our own selves in points of our lives, and resonated and fell in love with this AMAZING ARTIST and HUMAN BEING! It's not like mainstream music we hear everyday, but it's an individual intimate deep connection with her, that we come to resonate by ourselves. It's just me and her, i don't care if there's another person in the room watching. I'm totally connected, i FEEL what she feels, i absorb all the emotion, i resonate. Each individual has his own connection with her message. At one point or another in your life, she HITS you! And you can't look back at music the way you did before her. They all have something, but she has it ALL.
I totally fucking agree. I feel like when I let people know I love P!nk they just don't really *get* it, if you know what I mean. They don't know how deep and meaningful so many of her songs are. I watched the Fuckin Perfect video and, even though I had never met her, I just like felt like she got it and she really did care, although we don't know each other. She just has so many deep songs & they're not just mainstream music, and I think that's what a lot of people sadly don't seem to get.

There is a difference between popularity and success, popularity being how often one is seen in the media and success being the career as a whole. Our society gets the misconception that if someone or something is on the cover of every magazine that there is a level of quality. The reason P!nk isn't seen everywhere is she keeps her private life private as much as possible. Most stars today are only known for scandals. P!nk is not prominent in the media but writes songs that are real.

You definetely has a problem with Britney. Are you aware of that? When Britney gets views "it makes no sense". When Britney tops Forbes "it makes no sense". When Britney scores three Top 10's from her unpromoted album "it makes no sense".. So i have nothing to solve your problem coz you just deny everything..I think there's something which disturbs you so much from Britney (maybe her headshaving/meltdown era etc.) And it forces you to hate her even you say you dont hate but it seems you do..
You can put Pink and her into same categories. Not huge and iconic stars like Britney but they have both powerful voices etc. Pink is doing good coz she is original. Aguilera sucks, coz she has always been the imitation of Britney and she could not constructed her career on a powerful basis.. She is not original. First of all i agree that she is doing better music with an artistic way. This is the first time i loved a song and a video from Pink that TRY is really good.
