+awaken77 Sorry for the late reply! Where are you from? I don't know that river very well. I had a luck that I was able to fish that river with skilled salmon fishers. That place is awesome, because almost everyone are so nice to you and give you some tips if you ask. If you ask quoestion like "what kind of fly do you use" the answer is normally in salmon rivers like "it's a fly with hook and littlebit of hair". So if you come to fish that river you can ask fly and line tips other fisherman. I think that the best season is the early summer season when water is not warm yet and the water level is higher than normally. When the water level drops and the water heats up salmon keeps their mouth closed.

+Lauri Hauhia Im from Krakow, Poland and I'm going to visit Byske in 3rd week of June (15.06) . I had little salmon fishing experiense in Kola peninsula, Russia, and I never forget it. I lost 4 fish before I landed my first one - due to lack of skills of fighting such powerful fish. Unfortunately it was in August, low water season, not many fish willing to bite. So now I want to get more experience with that beautiful and powerful fish. I checked 2015 catch reports on Byskealven official site, and they are very impressive , so I hope i'll be there in good time.
