Nice. Pellet barbi sure does a good job. Your brisket turned out super. Tampers was guarding his piece. Your reaction is the same as when ya bought barbi in Texas. Bet ya kinda wish ya threw on a few chicken legs sirloin & round steaks on the grill at the same time as ya put on the brisket. Then ya can have a few days worth of barbi. Good job & great ya trimmed off the excess fat with the knive. God is good all the time. Devil is bad all the time.
I'm not going to go into how we prepare a brisket and pit smoke a brisket in Texas because everybody has their own method. I will say it looked tasty and i'm sure you scored some points with the wife having brisket ready when she got home, your a good man JBG. As always great video and god bless.

Almost had a heart attack when you cut into it like that but it looks like it turned out ok and you let it rest so the juices settle otherwise it’ll dry right out.
Brisket good food cause of the fat, good to cut off thick parts, make it into balls mixed with bird seed wrap in hardware cloth hang from tree limbs, birds need it & Luv it. India black pepper has all the flavour and little heat , ladies might like it ?
Harald it would taste better but as a doctor it's healthier with less fat. Some would say forget the meat altogether I love beef pork fish in moderation.
So many conflicting reports. Some are now saying set all the pork beef ya want & it's ok. Experts claim it's the sugar or the excess carbs that cause inflammation & that in turn causes the heart problems. Plus some claim eat the whole egg & it will be ok also ( recent reports) nevertheless to be safe I will try to eat lean beef moderately 1-2 x wk , mainly white of the egg, & set very little sugar products/ baking. Plus avoid 33% cheese fat content & whole milk. Will buy slim cheese & skim milk. Gotta keep the old ticker healthy & blood flow moving thru the pipes!!!!
