Trust me, this will not be the only metal mando I've seen. My friend Dresdon's suit is made put of steel plates, I think he said his whole suit is over 200lbs. facebook.com/dresdon.acacin
Put your template designs up for downloadable access ,individually priced of course, with a reduction for full armour and in multiple sizes or advising where to broaden and lengthen so the novices can adjust the fitting. I think it would easy money and really help your channel turn a profit. Best Mando armours I've seen yet, keep it up!
Awesome Job. Can't wait to see the whole build in Aluminum. Would be interested in the whole armor. things just go together well when you have the right tools and materials and space to do it in.
Looking forward to seeing the whole thing come together. This is exactly what I was wanting to do. I will definitely be referring to your videos in the future.
I am currently building my own armor out of steel, and I'm using your templates for it. All your videos are hands-down the best videos on youtube for if someone wants to make the real armor out of metal. Keep up the good work.👍
I'm a Mechanical Designer and just recently started working in the sheet metal industry. I am in complete awe at the level of artistry in this business. This video is awesomely interesting
Thank you for such an amazingly detailed video, and aptly named one at that. I may watch this several times, love your attention to the stages of what the final product will end up being!
Amazing build and display of talent behind making such fantastic gear! I only wish I had your level of skill and access to tools and equipment that you do. Again, well done and looking forward to the rest of your incredible Mandalorian Beskar armor build!
I'm trying to make the boba fett/mandalorian set from fiberglass right now. I wish I had your metal working skills. Glad to see no one has disliked your video =]
I feel like the armor we see on screen is something like fiberglass with a lot of expensive paint processes applied. It definitely has depth like an exotic car paint job. So what ever it is, I think there is clear coat on top, maybe even a slightly tinted clear coat. Fiberglass would track with them needing exact replacements for filming once something gets damaged, easier to make exact replicas once you have a mold.
@@8ball758 you do realize that this is a costume of a specific character, not someones own original mandalorian build, right? this dude got seriously accurate in his recreation of an on screen character. they want to be able to do that too.
Truly incredible work Matt! I love seeing content of skilled individuals practicing their skills in ways that interest me, and it would be an understatement to say that Star Wars interests me. Congratulations on the monetisation, i look forward to watching your new and backlog of videos. Keep up the beautiful work mate!!
So cool man. You could seriously make a business out of selling suits. Im currently working on a helmet but its just the good ol paper stock/pepakura stuff. Still fun but so cool you have the resources you have to do that. Look forward to the next video
Great video. You are the master of the forge. or welder... Anyway. New Project to maybe think about. The Madalorian ship THE CREST. Yes, No, Maybe. It would be awesome.
Your workmanship is truly first class, I used to be a nuclear NDT Tech so I KNOW good welding. My question is why do you center punch your holes? I center punch my holes but I am using a drill press or handheld drill, I can't see any reason to center punch when using a Hydraulic Press Punch.
I think he could make a cast and then force press the cast into a sheet of alluminum, a bit like in the series. It won't be as strong as this one, but you could get a pretty decent result. But that's just a wild guess
Be careful.. armor like that will attract some attention.

Man it’s crazy how all of a sudden mandalorians Have taken the center stage over the Jedi. It’s a brand new day in Star Wars fandom.
I truly believe The Mandalorian and Jon Favreau will restore the Star Wars universe that George Lucas and Disney worked so hard to destroy
about time we got reconition ;)
@JC S what social justice do you mean exactly
@JC S it is What star wars is all about. Hope! and pure badassery
@JC S no i mean what in perticular do you find "sjw" like?
The armorer in Mandalorian made it look easy.
Yeah just melt it and hit it a couple times then bingo
@@ronnie7712 I want her skills lol
It's called being level 100 in smithing
she melt metal on a mold.
@@TheVersacePython ….Exactly
In about two months this dude’s going to have one hell of a legit Mandalorian suit
Trust me, this will not be the only metal mando I've seen. My friend Dresdon's suit is made put of steel plates, I think he said his whole suit is over 200lbs.

hyperguyver2 that’s neat, but nobody asked
Toothpaste Chocolate no one had to. That’s how commenting works. 👍
hyperguyver2 your friend is the coolest mando ever
Can you put the cad templates up for free or for sale

The diamond and square in the center really made the chest plate look 10x better. Amazing job dude.
As I’m watching him make it - *starts having flashbacks of my home planet being perished by droids* 😐😐
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely beautiful...
"This is the way.."
As soon as I saw you make that helmet I was hooked, awesome work 👍👍
Awesome Job. Can't wait to see the whole build in Aluminum. Would be interested in the whole armor. things just go together well when you have the right tools and materials and space to do it in.
man you make aluminum welding look soo easy. its always fun watching someone else make armor their way.
Look forward to seeing the whole costume man.
Amazing work! I wish I still had access to all these tools but I'm at a different job now so I'll just admire your work!
“Hey Matt you going to give us a hand today?
Can’t do it too busy making a costume.
Yeah but...
I have spoken..” lol 😂
Looking forward to seeing the whole thing come together. This is exactly what I was wanting to do. I will definitely be referring to your videos in the future.
“This is the way” - the Mandalorian code
Wow this is amazing looks just like it did in the show. Great Job.
Those 17 people that put a thumbs down are just jealous that they don't have your artistic talent!
Amazing work i need this in my life!
Speechless! That's not a simple welding/blacksmith job, its a aluminum jewel!
Beautiful craftsmanship. Excellent work man!
These videos bring back great memories of my time in aircraft structures school and my work on airplanes.
You should’ve put your channel logo on the armor, it could be like your signet.
He deserves it. It was the honorable victory.
hmm i say no is the armour of the mandolorian
but an own armour the yeah it would be cool
A welder and a geek. I salute you sir.
dude!!! as a welder an a star wars fan hands down I respect your skill, if I ever ordered a movie legit armor it would be you!

Super impressive. Found the helmet video last week. Now I’m here for the long haul!

Awesome Build, you are a true craftsmen!!
Awesome build Matt!!!
That looks amazing. Your a genius with the tools you use... nicely done.
Awesome artwork.

Where can we find the templates for said armor piece
Same. Where can we get them?
Same same. Struggling to find
Make your own design. If you want to look all the same you better go as stormtrooper.
@@8ball758 you do realize that this is a costume of a specific character, not someones own original mandalorian build, right? this dude got seriously accurate in his recreation of an on screen character. they want to be able to do that too.

It's cool that you can use your workplace for personal projects like this, I know some places wouldn't allow it (at least where I'm at).
Very exciting! Look forward to your next edition. Thanks :-)
Can't wait to see you wearing the whole armor. Amazing work!
Beautiful work on the armor.
It would be cool to see material cost and hours. Great job!
Material cost about $300 hours about 25hours. Now it could be cnc and stamped out and save time that way but the die is where the money would be.
Awesome work! Loved the Helmet and this is insane too!
Awesome video! I've been wanting to make beskar armor out of metal and this was very inspiring!

Love your content and looking forward to seeing you create the whole suit of armor! Hoping for your channel to grow massively. Such skill!!

I’m trying to make the helmet rn in my machine shop and I’m really happy ur making these vids to make it possible for me to do that
This is so awesome! I can’t wait to try doing this on my own!
You've got serious talent, and an outlet for some serious free time! I'm loving the armor so far.
Good job looks great
You are insanely talented! This was a great watch and the pieces are amazing!
Your work is awesome! Keep up the great work cant wait to see it all done! Wish I could own a set for armor like that! Or have your skill.
Congrats on monetization! You deserve it for making such great videos.
Great build man! Keep up the good work!
nice work on the Kar'ta Beskar
So cool man. You could seriously make a business out of selling suits. Im currently working on a helmet but its just the good ol paper stock/pepakura stuff. Still fun but so cool you have the resources you have to do that. Look forward to the next video
Wow I bet the only one out there made out of aluminum nice job 👍🏼 brother.
Bloody awesome stuff
Dude, I too am a fabricator. But, your skills are so much farther along than mine. You have some serious talent.
Could you perhaps save the patterns for the foundlings?
Fantastic job
Great video. You are the master of the forge. or welder... Anyway. New Project to maybe think about. The Madalorian ship THE CREST. Yes, No, Maybe. It would be awesome.
That chest looks identical... wow. One of my dream to have full armor like that and stormtrooper.
My New Favorite Channel
Next project: the shoulder plates of armour haha. Super cool vid good job
Great job!
This guys gonna end up making his whole armour
Amazing stuff man, just found you cant wait to see what comes next.
Fantastic!
Dope AF. Well done
did you get flashbacks from your past while making mandalorian armor?
You should make a third video where you make all of the smaller pieces. And then a fourth video where you show them all together
How much would it cost to order this version of mando chest plate?
man the skills, unreal
Awe man you have to do the full set now
Your workmanship is truly first class, I used to be a nuclear NDT Tech so I KNOW good welding. My question is why do you center punch your holes? I center punch my holes but I am using a drill press or handheld drill, I can't see any reason to center punch when using a Hydraulic Press Punch.
Fantastic work, I thought the Mando Helmet was great and this video keeps up the high standard.
THIS IS TOO AWESOME. I need to learn how to weld just so I can make the mandalorian helmet lol
Epic build vode, This is the way.
I can't wait to see this set!
Awesome!!!!! Your amazing
Beautiful I’d buy that from you in a heartbeat
You are awesome dude.
Very nice work my man. Love the work you do. I am also on Instagram I will go over there and see if you have a feed.👍🏼💥👊🏻
Sehr fein 🤗👍
Amazing!
His new armor looks totally badass
So I take it this is a one off and not something you'd commission?
I think he could make a cast and then force press the cast into a sheet of alluminum, a bit like in the series. It won't be as strong as this one, but you could get a pretty decent result. But that's just a wild guess
Awesome work! Would you sell the armor? Or if not, do you do custom work?
